TV SHOWS / SERIES - Seen any good ones lately? Please feel free to post reviews / feedback / trailers / articles / TV news / all that shit ...

I just started back watching this over the weekend (didnt make it through the first episode last time i tried). Two episodes down, i'm mildly intrigued. It's giving me Breaking Bad vibes. And yeah Ruth is an interesting character.

Are you currently on season 4, episode 2 ... or season 1? I gather season 1.

I think what works for Ruth's character is that she isn't a physical presence, but she's foul-mouthed and volatile. But also vulnerable.

The Book Of Boba Fett season finale DEFINITELY action packed
partially predictable
Some things were briefly touched on im not sure if the connection
between Cade Bane and Boba has been spoken of on any other show but it would
be great if we get that in flashbacks in season 2

CLAWS series finale semi convoluted with filler flashbacks but things were tied up nicely going to miss seeing Niecy Nash's Mega cleavage weekly

Watching episode 1 of the book of Boba Fett and the choreography is super weak. The scene where they get jumped outside the bar looked more like a lame dance then a fight

If this is what I have to look forward to with this series I might stop at episode 1. Tell me why I shouldn't

Finishing up "Fear The Index"

A scientist-turned-wall street tycoon becomes the target of a plot to destroy the world's financial markets.

Felt more like a movie than a series, so I hope there is another season or more.

where is this streaming? Sky?

Thanks for the new recommendations.

Been watching Pam & Tommy. Have seen the 4 eps thus far. The 1995-1996 nostalgia makes it interesting. Great performance from Lily James. She's got Pam's look & voice down quite well.

Gonna finish up The Responder next week. Just have eps 4 & 5 left.

I find most of my new shows on https://123chill.to/ most times i don't know the network unless i go look up the info.

It's a jungle out there

The person who creates an easy accurate comprehensive website or app that can tell you where all these shows are?

I know Google does it pretty good but it is far from perfect.

I mean recommendations, sequels trailers, reviews

Even links to purchase the source materials?

Will make a killing.

Agreed. I listen to entertainment / media critic podcasts and such. And even they can't keep up with all the content. The hundreds of new and returning series of interest annually. They'll often recommend stuff to their cohosts, who in turn will say things like - "Yeah ... I've been meaning to see that one. You mentioned it 1 - 2 years ago. I still need to see that ..."

It's an embarassment of riches.

Compared to the movie market which is more hit & miss, and we generally have an idea pretty quickly whether or not we're willing to invest 1.5 - 2.5 hours into something. What's worthy of the big screen. What we would rather stream or dload, etc.

You need to format it like the index at ThePornDude - https://theporndude.com/

Great place for tubesite links, etc.

Do that for mainstream TV & movies, lol.

Hmmmm

Damn that is extensive. But it looks a little overwhelming at first glance.

I was thinking you click Ozarks right?

it shows immediately where it's streaming series description seasons reviews (maybe written by H Funk???) Trailer.

Where to buy the dvd, cast listing and any merchandise connected to the series.

It's like Wikipedia imdb etc combined but simplified.

I gotta go into a deep dive for a few days. If you don't see me that's what I'm doing. I think this idea is worth a few hours.

What you think?

Lilly James disappears for that role. In order to appreciate what she doing you gotta see and hear her speak......she's doing great.

Agreed. She did a damn good with the voice & cadence. Speech or vocal coach really nailed it with her. And when she looks like Pam - she really looks like her. Helps you forgive some other scenes wherein she might look like an actress in the role.

Sebastian Stan's doing a good job too. Seems shorter in stature though - always assumed Tommy Lee was taller, and probably is.

Great role for Seth Rogen. Have to lol @ the hairstyle and 90s clothing.

Funny to see the earlier days of the internet too ... the "world wide web".

Takes me back to us getting our first PC with internet access at home in 1997 ... Sprint Canada connection ... found BGOL shortly thereafter.

I agree on all the above and yeah I'm pretty sure Tommy Lee like 6'3 or 6'4 or some shit. But Stan is good enough that you can forgive him being shorter .

Yeah - good job overall. They definitely are doing the roles justice. When Tommy was acting up in the first episode or two and being very disrespectful towards Rogen's character ... I kept thinking ... "this ain't gonna end well for you, man"
