No one appears to have been in charge at Black Lives Matter for months. The address it lists on tax forms is wrong, and the charity's two board members won't say who controls its $60 million bankroll, a Washington Examiner investigation has found.

BLM co-founder Patrisse Cullors appointed two activists to serve as the group's senior directors following her resignation in May amid scrutiny over her personal finances. But both quietly announced in September that they never took the jobs due to disagreements with BLM. They told the Washington Examiner they don't know who now leads the nation's most influential social justice organization.

I was listening to the Bakari podcast a few weeks back he interviewed the founder and she was acting like she never heard of them

These are the type of things that can happen with a black Attorney General chasing after President Trump. If you call their prosecution unfair of BLM or Mosby, they bring up what the NY Attorney General is doing to Trump.

First, why do we expect people and organizations that fight for black issues to remain poor and to not pay themselves? If you create a national organization that generates millions, you should be compensated for your work. The law allows this. We know CEOs get paid millions, this is consistent with for profit and non-profit organizations.

Second, the continuous attack on people fighting for you will result in noone fighting for you. It's not worth it. Sadly, they are working for the other side and not realizing it.

Lastly, this desire for black women to merge black issues and lgbtq issues always leads to division and lack of focus for the organization. Its bad business and inconsistent with the mission to create an organization that is about addressing broad black issues, only to concentrate a majority of the resources towards more narrow lgbtq issues. Again, this causes division and pushes people away.

That last part - I'm starting to agree with. That term "intersectionality" is like raking nails across a chalkboard to me now.
 
It's good marketing I know Uber and other companies where heavy on the if you hate black people don't work for us route after that passed.

As stated above, the mission got blurred with the creators of the organization started bringing in their personal agenda, instead of tightly focusing on the central issue.
getting paid for this work is not a crime, and no one should be shamed for doing so.
however tight financial controls must be maintained because you know, they are coming for you.

That can be said about most, if not all supposedly black focused organizations. Who not only represent black folk, but all "minorities", including white women (who aren't in the minority at all).

As to your former points. That's why when you have people yelling somebody needs to do something. A lot of people say....naw because they know what comes with that and only certain type of person is willing to put up with such nonsense.
