Janet Jackson’s alleged love child says she’s already matched her DNA to Etterlene DeBarge, the mother of Jackson’s ex James DeBarge.
Janet Jackson’s alleged love child claims she has scientific proof she’s the music icon’s rightful heir: a DNA test that proves she’s a descendant of Jackson’s ex, James DeBarge!
As Radar reported, Philadelphia native Tiffany Whyte, 31, told Radar she is fighting to prove she’s the daughter of famous parents. And she’s been pushed along the way, she said, by her supposed grandmother, Etterlene DeBarge – after the two of them matched as relatives on a DNA test!
“I talk to my grandmother more than anyone else in my family,” Whyte told Radar. She first reached out to the 81-year-old on Facebook, and they forged an instant connection.
“She was the reason why we went forward for the test,” she said, “because I told her I didn’t want to do it. I kind of gave up. She said, ‘Tiffany, you’ve come this far and I’m getting older and I need to know the truth. Please, I’m praying to God that you will change your mind and do this test.’”
And so, the two claim, they proceeded to get a DNA test after meeting in Etterlene’s home state of Michigan.
Etterlene told Inside Edition the results showed a 96.7 percent probability the two of them were related.
However, Inside Edition did not verify the accuracy of the tests, or the results. As Radar reported, however, the truth will be revealed next week, when Radar reveals the results of a DNA test between Whyte and James himself.
Radar's tests were given in controlled environments at accredited facilities, and with a Radar reporter present.
As Radar reported, James has long claimed he and Jackson had a secret love child in the mid 1980s, and that it was given up for adoption.
