If she does any type of "work" while she is there, she should be able to write some of the expenses that are accumulated while working.

I remember this big time black lawyer, Willie E. Gary. He was Ben Crump back in his prime. He made the comment that he never takes vacations. This was from a dude who was taking his family on trips on a private planes.

Although, you can easily take that to mean he's always working (dude was hustling hard no doubt), I took it to also mean that all his trips were tax deductible, because working trips are definitely a tax write off.

Before Trump's tax breaks came into law, anyone could take advantage of some of those write_offs. Now, only business owners get these write-offs.

If you are an employee and you incur some job related expenses, you can no longer write those expenses off.
