The only reason to leave WWE for AEW is maybe for a easier and light schedule. But all these young wrestlers like Bianca, Sasha, etc.? It makes no sense for them to go. I think even with Danielson he was able to make that move because of the timing he dipped and him being a draw.
You can count Jericho since he went to NJPW instead of taking a WWE paycheck which led to his AEW run. Moxley (not a true main event name) turned down WWE money to work the indies. Mox didn't even know AEW was legit until Jericho told him. Can you count Hogan going to WCW?
I think you can count a lot of WWF guys going to WCW at the time Hogan did it. but I don't think WWF was what it is today. They were going to WCW and getting paid more and as a result i'd probably say they were more on equal ground than what AEW is today.
And yeah i'd agree on Jericho too. But he also goes back to that perfect timing deal. If Jericho was still in WWE and he left today for AEW...I don't think that deal is nearly as lucrative.

Your parents have heard the NAME Bitcoin that is it. You're saying in order to be mainstream I have to be able to give some form of explanation of what it is. WWE=wrestling for me to have heard of it. Bitcoin is a virtual traded form of currency that is just off the top of my head don't know if I am right or wrong on that but I am close enough to know OF Bitcoin. So by your logic Bitcoin is not mainstream cause your parents can't give an explanation. It is possible your dad may have heard the name AEW, but never makes the connection that AEW=wrestling which means AEW is not mainstream. Therefore Bitcoin is not either.

Most kats don't want to let go of what was, been watching since the 70s and have seen all the changes to this point. Big business own the TV channels now and some have strict rules while others will let the boundaries be pushed. Grand kids enjoyed the RR but we also were watching Bellator last night to. Thing I like best that we have more choices of Wrestling, MMA and Boxing basically something for everyone.
Give TK and AEW time, they'll be pulling the same shit. The Big Swole situation was just the beginning. But hey, at least the owner is BROWN

If you were among those disenchanted with the WWE Royal Rumble PPV, you were not alone.
We've heard from a number of sources in the company who were frustrated with the constant changes in the Rumble matches over the course of the last week and felt that was a direct cause for the quality (or lack of) for the Rumble matches themselves. As we reported earlier, one source noted the Men's Rumble alone changed "20 times" over the course of the days leading to the Rumble matches between spots that were devised, changed and discarded, changes in eliminations, order of entrances and even interactions between talents. We have since heard that was the experience for the Women's Rumble match as well. All of the changes led to a frustrating day for talents with a lot of moving parts that kept shifting, so for some, it just turned into a confusing hodgepodge of things they needed to remember or dispose of mentally. It all came down from Vince McMahon as he had his fingers deep in every aspect of the PPV.
The morale after the show was very down compared to most recent WWE PPVs because as one talent (who commented under condition of anonymity) stated, "We were all in a whirlwind. Just as you had your role and spots down, everything started over and over and now most of us were back to square one. It changed again and again and again. It wasn't an easy night even before we hit the ring."
WWE President Nick Khan was at the Rumble, arriving to the building with Shane McMahon.
Ben LeDoux sent word in his live report from the Royal Rumble that the Wrestlemania sign was burning AGAIN after the pyro for Brock Lesnar's Rumble win.
A number of readers, including Tim Windhalm, noted that overhead spotlight that WWE used around the ring last night in St. Louis was blinding fans in the audience and there was a consistent “turn the light off” chant that keep popping up between Rumble entrants.
We've been asked if Johnny Knoxville's ring gear was a tribute to Andy Kaufman. I haven't heard that was the case, but I could certainly see the similarities.

Like even y'all who defend the shit know the shit is trash because it ain't even entertaining enough for y'all to even keep up with it.
Y'all was in here last night talking about "who the fat bitch? where that nigga been? Where the other nigga at? The German dude with the dress -- the one that was WWE champion for like a year? What's his name? Yeah, he gone win!" Questions that y'all would know the answers to if y'all followed the product.
But stay coming to the rescue every time they get called out for the bullshit because y'all are so gung ho on this VInce McMahon "WWE or nothing" attitude.
At least when I watch AEW, I enjoy it. I don't have to act like "oh my kids was watching it, so I watched it, too", or some other high side ass reason. At least I can feel like I watched this shit for me.
WWE just ain't fun to watch no more, so I stopped watching. I'll tune into a big PPV in hopes they'll do something new, or interesting, or redeeming for the rest of the meaningless programming they put on TV the rest of the year. But then they'll do some shit like this and it'll remind me exactly why I stopped watching it: repetitive and lazy writing and booking.
I discovered I could watch 3 hours of a good TV show instead of Monday Night Raw.
And it ain't like I want WWE to fail. Yeah, I want Vince and his cabinet of dickriders to go to the old folks home already, but it ain't like I want the company to crumble to shit.
I want to see their talent and producers shine, too, and make hella money, and have friendly competition but also be able to work with all the other companies, but it's Vince's cutthroat business tactics that keep all of that shit from happening. And I'm tired of defending it and complaining about it.

I think she would garner more respect than that. Honestly feel she'd be the one to beat Jade because of her physical background. She lost her belt in 26 seconds and they've played her to the left since then.And do what? Go to AEW, get lost in the shuffle and have to do jobs to Jade Cargill?
WWE needs to have Sasha/Bianca team up and go after the tag titles. That way you can get them on both shows to boost ratings and exposure.

But seriously, I was entertained this year. It was the best Rumble by far, but it also wasn't anywhere near the worst.
I think we could have done a few bits of fantasy booking changes, but I wouldn't even change the overall finishes.

- The Roman/Rollins match could have ended the same way, but just have Roman yelling, "laugh now, laugh now!" to further explain why he wouldn't let go of the hold. Seth has spend the last month (including this match) laughing in Roman's face. Roman should be pissed.
- Maybe Charlotte could have won the women's Rumble so that she could show up on Raw and challenge Becky, on some, "fuck the two titles situation, I'm the REAL champ" Then we can merge the belts (which they don't seem to want to do, but really should).

- They either need to retire the Kofi spot or pass it on to someone else. They have so many high flyers that anyone can take that spot. Rey & Dominik could have done something cool. And Ricochet was born to inherit that kind of high flyer/escape artist spot.
- Brock should have won, but he shouldn't have been the official #30 entrant. They should have done the Nia Jax thing, where Brock came outta nowhere and wrecked the real #30. Then he enter the Rumble on some fuck it I'm mad I got screw earlier so now I'm gonna destroy everyone now.
I'm not sure if those women tag title can be saved. When Rhea Ripley eliminated Zelina & Carmella and they mentioned that she threw both the champs out, I had honesty forgotten that they were the current champions.
Vince has never like tag team wrestling and women's tag team are probably not even on his radar. That division (male & female) won't be about shit until Vince is gone and HHH & Steph finally have full control.
My thoughts about the Royal Rumble..
- Bobby Lashley deserves the win, but I hate how he won. During his celebration, Lashley should have grab the microphone and cursed out Roman Reigns and told that punk he didn't ask nor needed his help. Tell that punk, Roman he'll get his ass smashed if he steps in Lashley's ring again. That would have bring the heat.
- I liked Mickie James performance in the Rumble. I don't think her being eliminated by Lita made her or the Knockout championship look weak. Everyone knows she wasn't going to win. However I think she could have eliminated 3 more chicks out of the ring. I can't wait to see Impact and see Tasha Steelz and Deonna Purrazzo clown her.
