Nah, this is a dangerous narrative. Vaccines offer protection, but not complete immunization. Vaccinated folks are way safer, but are not out of the woods when it comes to exposure. And we are still just one bad variant away from vaccines (or even naturally built immunity) meaning very little. In which case, the general lack of concern for distancing and mask wearing will come back to bite people.
People are still being denied medical service, and hospitals are taxed beyond capacity from dealing with infected people. Staff are pushed beyond their limits, and we're still losing medical professionals to stress and in some cases, COVID.
"Endemic" is about to become the new "herd immunity": a word that people use to try and comfort or justify behavior without really understanding what it really is.
I can agree on this. We might as well get the goods to the people that need them and don't have access, versus those that have access and refuse to use the resources.Other countries have a political structure that allows the unvaccinated to be targeted to a degree that isn't possible here. (fines, restrictions etc.) I predict highly vaccinated major cities /suburbs will be OK going forward but I don't see how this cycle ever ends for the rest of the country. I want us to pivot and start trying to vaccinate low income countries instead of trying to reason with the idiots here.
Maybe,I'm wrong but Kareem seems like the only current or former athlete that seems to be outspoken against these stupid ass athletes that's against vaccination and mask mandation.
Oh and sliced cheeseYep the supply chain was sort of getting back to normal but these winter storms screwed up some things as long as the stores have Chef Boyardee, bread, milk and eggs…..I’m good
Did he not look in the mirror while getting dressed??? What kind of pant/jacket combo is that?
So basically, he wants to exhaust a treatment that is effective on some previous cases of COVID (and might be effective against future variants) treating a variant that it's not effective against.
A dozen things he could be doing, and this is the fight that he picks. Literally the worst take on something clearly denoted by the science.
It's amazing to me how these politicians aren't just dumb, they're dumb to the point of being self-destructive.
He isn't dumb he just knows his continued political success is 100% dependent on the dumb vote.So basically, he wants to exhaust a treatment that is effective on some previous cases of COVID (and might be effective against future variants) treating a variant that it's not effective against.

Add them to the list with Ohio and Alabama.
