Official 2025 NFL Discussion!!!

He'll certainly catch smoke but Rodgers has elite CAC QB privilege so it won't be with any real vitriol. If and when HE stinks up the field, everyone else catches most of the blame before a reluctant finger is pointed in his direction.

I CAN say though that a good portion of the fanbase was livid about his off-season antics and wasn't having any parts of a Favre 2.0 situation. CACs were big mad at his ass 'round here.

He gotta a lot a pressure to not blow another top 2 seed season without a SB. Rams have the most pressure though.

another Kyler short joke
y'all stay fuckin' w/dude

The pressure is all on the Packers
Practically no one thinks the 9ers will win this game
So we are playing with house money
But if the Packers lose this.....
With damn near all of their players healthy + with 2 weeks rest + with playing at home
Them ninjas gonna have a WHOLE LOT of explaining to do, LOL

:popcorn::popcorn::popcorn:
Like I stated before, this is the time that we have to get the monkey off of our back like we had to do with Dallas. I remember GB making runs only to be foiled by the Cowboys in the most meaningful games when Favre was there.

It seemed to have taken forEVER to get their number and get around them. With Rodgers, it the 9ers that HE has to get around.

My only concerns this time around are Deebo and Kittle up the middle because we are shit for run protection and always seem to play soft in the middle.

I expect our receiving corp to get the job done though (Devante gone Devante) with Jones finding some creases and Dillon just battering muhfuckas.

They only have 16 playoff appearances in the 50 years, not gonna change overnight. They are traditional losers. Ownership is too old school.

yet they the only team to win a superbowl in 4 straight decades..yet 1 of the few teams to have 4 or more superbowl rings.. according to you they have a 25 percent chance of winning the superbowl which is higher than the cowboys

You got a personal beef with the Cowboys highest valued 0rganization, Hall of Fame owner, "Dak gone Dak"'s 8 straight wins against the Giants, and the loud, obnoxious, and shit talking fans who have not won a Super Bowl since 1995. What about the other 30 teams? You hate any other teams with a passion?

Yeah, if he wants to be mentioned in Brady's class, and not get surpassed by Mahomeboy in career achievements winning achievement, he must win this year. Peyton Manning has 2 rings, one as a star, one as a role player. He does not want to be in the same class a Brees or Favre, who blew it in the playoffs every season except once.

Its crazy because the 49ers kicked the Packers out of the playoffs 3 times already
Thats why Shaka said "Rogers needs to get that monkey off his back"
We did it twice during the Harbaugh/Kaepernick years
And once with Shannahan/Garoppolo
And in each of those years the Packers were seen as a "powerhouse team to go to the Superbowl"
Imagine if Rogers had 3 more rings, he could've possibly been seen in the same "goat status" conversation as Brady & Montana

:itsawrap::itsawrap::itsawrap:

Sometimes its not about which team is better
It sometimes comes down to matchups.....styles make fights
The Rams/Packers/Cowboys just don't matchup well with the 49ers

All 3 teams are built somewhat similar

Instead of having bigger players to stop the run
They have lighter more athletic players to stop the pass & to rush the QB
And have probowl CB's on the outside to prevent those big play sideline throws

And thats literally the complete opposite of what San Francisco does & how they are built, LOL
Jimmy doesn't hardly throw outside the numbers, its mostly in the middle
And he has a quick enough release to mostly neutralize the pass rush
And of course the 9ers lean on the run game & their physical WR's, to push around the opposing teams lighter players

In addition to that Sean McVay & Matt LaFleur worked under Shannahan
So he somewhat knows their tendencies
But the 49ers don't have any room for error
Because Rogers won't turn the ball over like Stafford or Dak
And the Packers won't commit a bunch of penalties like the Cowboys
So as long as Garoppolo doesn't shit the bed, we should have a fighters chance throughout the game

Plus the years that Seattle foiled us too. Aaron could've been blinged the fuck up. It just didn't happen for them.

I'm just hoping for that kidney punch that sends them to the corner trying not to piss blood in the ring.

Rodgers didn't choke. It has been either Defense, Special Teams gaffes, or contested/shitty calls that have cost GB trips to additional Super Bowls.
Favre went back to back Bowls but Denver pulled it off on the second trip.

Rodgers' Achilles heel is when they're lagging behind and he goes into desperation mode trying to catch up when he's frustrated.

That’s called CHOKING

Actually sounds like you got a personal beef with the giants and a quite love affair with the cowboys..you quick to cape for the cowboys and have various pages shitting on the giants..notice my response was to you quickly trying to shit on the giants about going to the playoffs only 16 times in 50 yrs.. it was you saying Odell was washed up( 6 tds since you claimed he was) and I told you he wasn’t.. I said dak was gonna dak he did.. I said Odell gonna shine he did.. as far as the cowboys shit talking this go back for yrs on this board when giants had their own thread and cowboy fans on here kept coming through talking wild shit for no reason..they were in the giant thread more than the cowboy thread so it’s nothing like returning the shit talking back to them.. as far as dislike I don’t care for Brady and some teams bore me

Honestly, I see the 49ers, Steelers, Cowboys, and Green Bay as NFL royalty as far as a combination of long time tradition, HOF players, TV viewership, loyal fans, SB and playoff win totals, style, team value, star studded teams, etc..... I will always defend them against serious attacks by teams viewed as lower tier franchises. They are always relevant, regardless of their records or win totals, they will be discussions about them on Monday and Tuesday morning for a lifetime.

I have to respect the Patriots for what they have done in the last 20 years, but they don't have the HOF players or star studded history to put them in their class. They basically had one great qb and one great coach. They are boring, and I would not pay to go see them, even if they won 10 SBs in a row.

I put the Giants in the same class as the Broncos, WFT/Redskins, Ravens, and Raiders. Old School style, blue collar teams, who were tough nose, can win playoff or SB's without any flash or great franchise qbs of HOF players, usually have good and tough run games and tough defenses, loyal fans, etc.... I respect all of these teams tradition, but I will never see them as NFL Royalty. They all have long time tradition, but they have to win games or be in the hunt in order to be promoted or be relevant.

I was the Giants biggest fan when they beat the Patriots, a big Lawrence Taylor, Parcells, Joe Morris, Dave Meggett, Brandon Jacobs fan, but I can't sit here and allow a team with 5 straight losing seasons bash anybody in the NFL royalty class unless they are in the hunt or a top 7 team currently in their conference. If the Cowboys have won 8 straight against the Giants, Dak is 8-2 against them, you have to respect that for now, regardless of how many SB's you have or how many playoff losses the Cowboys have. I do not hate the Giants, I just tell the truth about the current situation with the Giants. When the Giants are competing in the playoffs, I give them their props every time.

Just like I would not let a Jaguars, Lions, Bears, Falcons, or Panthers fan attack any NFC East team, I would take up for the Giants.

You will not hear me say anything disrespectful thing much about a team that is CURRENTLY in the playoffs and in the SB hunt, they earned my respect, regardless of their past seasons or how many SB wins or playoff wins they have in the last 40 years.

So now you know exactly how I think, you do not have to guess.
