How much are you looking to spend...

Got this one for $300 a few years ago. So worth the money. It's a legit site. The box had an office Depot item number. Easy to put together. Comfortable for 8+ hours of work.

My dad's gf bought him this gaming chair as one of his Christmas gifts a few years back. He's not a gamer, but it's a comfortable one & good addition to his home office and desktop set-up.

She's a keeper. Bought him an IPad for his birthday gift back in the first quarter of 2020 and a 27" monitor a year later. Asked me what I thought, and I co-signed the choice(s). She gave the go-ahead to her son who was making some online Boxing Day purchases at the time.

there are so MANY of them though

I can;t tell what has the best quality and these online customer reviews lately have NOT been helpful

Agreed. There's just so much selection when it comes to tech goods & accessories. Never quite know what's a good / great deal.

Trying to get the full picture reading the pros & cons with online reviews, etc.

I agree Fam!

These jawns are crazy expensive.

Do you work in an office where you can borrow one for a long time? :zipit:

I hear you on that. My cousin and his wife are both elementary school teachers. She's on mat' leave now after having her 4th kid in September. 2 of their kids go to that school, and the eldest is now in junior high. Back in the 1st or 2nd quarter of 2020 when things were changing over to online/virtual schooling he was like (talking to other school admin OR computer lab) - "Fuck ... you got any spare laptops? Let me borrow some of those. Long-term."

good reviews!

I'm in search of a chair something around $100 or less.

to be honest, somethings its good to splurge on, because in the long run you end up paying less,

any gaming chair under a hundred bucks is NOT meant to last long at all, you would be looking for another one

in less than two years..

and if you sit in it for a long time a day, and DONT workout, its good to invest in one that will support

your body type..

I just went an got the lazyboy delany office big and tall chair, and hooked up a keyboard tray and mouse to it...

paid over six for it but you can get it on sale now for under five hundred... Im just sayin

the price I paid for it, that bonded leather better fuckin hold up for at least ten years...

so far so good..

but Im just saying.. somethings is good to invest a little money in, like a good chair, or a good

pair of shoes, that support your feet and not wear them down, youd be surprised how poorly made

shit can fuck you up over time... those herman miller chairs are expensive for a reason...

Funny story ... been waiting to upgrade office items for ages. But for some reason these things won't break down.

Way back in the day (probably around 20yo) mom or dad bought me an office desk & chair. Desk is your average Ikea joint. Black leather chair is from Sears or The Bay.

They will not destruct.

Can't part with them ... because they're so resistent and consistent, haha. Not even a tear or rip in the chair. A minor scratch or two on the desk away from one's field of vision.

I just want these shits to fall apart so I can replace them with a baller set-up.

Shit ... just flipped the chair over ... underside of seat cushion notes it dates back to late-1996. Damn ... high school ... I was way off with "probably around 20yo"

There are so many damn choices for office chairs!!! Hard to decide which one to get.

I got the one listed below. Super comfortable and very durable. I'm 245lb and 6'2" and it works well for me.

Serta Big and Tall Exec. office chair $260

Agreed. The problem with so many choices of products & brands =
is you never quite know how good of a choice you made. There’s just too many makes and models of everything, haha.

If you got the dough go with the classic

Herman Miller office chair, especially if you

have back issues...

I had to order tons of them for all the overweight developers

we had back in the day, before they outsourced a lot of work to india,

thats all wallstreet was fuckin with...

there are places that sell used office furniture and you could get it for

damn near 80 percent off the price.. but certain things I have to purchase

new but thats just me..

Now if you just looking for a nice chair, and you arent going to be sitting in it

for long periods of time you can get any decent gaming chair at walmart, or

costcos just see if you can sit in it first.. every chair aint for everybody,

I know dudes that love that Titan gaming chair, and I know dudes that hate it..

for any personal chair, its really a great advantage if you could sit in it first..

^^^^^

exactly!!!

It’s like the cereal aisle, like I always say. Too many choices. Or peoples’ cellphone or home digital bundle package prices. Everyone is paying different prices with assorted promos, or none at all and way overpriced. You have to ask around and read discussion threads to see what others are paying, and for what plans.

And even then you don’t know if you have a decent price, and still feel like you’re overpaying for what you have. It’s like an endless cycle. Wish it was set tier pricing with savings that would kick in as you were grandfathered along as a customer. Instead we have to haggle with customer loyalty or retention!
