So if Roman doesn't get covid does Brock beat him too? Didn't even get a decent run with the belt. No high profile feuds, no big PPV match where his legend could begin. Just fed to Brock. This is why when your contract is up you leave WWE. They see no value in you. Instead of building something they bring back an over part time and strap the rocket back to them. Now what happens to Big E? New Day on another show, do you just off screen trade him cuz ur not letting him beat Lesnar. Big E ate more pins as WWE champ than any other champion.

Was at the arena. Overall good show. The big screens were damn near 4k. Impressed by how clear they were.

Interesting to see in person how the audience died during the Liv vs Becky match. As quiet as everyone was when Liv came out, I knew then there was no way they would let her win and carry the division. And only a marginal pop for Becky. We all knew they were going to let Becky keep the title until WrestleMania anyway but damn, folks really weren't into the women wrestling.

We left confused about Brock winning too. It was like that moment when he beat Undertaker (I was at that WrestleMania too). I'm just chilling in my seat waiting for the next sequence then BAM, match over :eek2:

Yeah, they only care about the moments.

Kofi had his moment, Bianca had her moment, Hurt Business had their moment for like a week when they all had the championships, and they all ended on some fuck shit, and it's not a coincedence.

That's why I stopped following WWE after Big E won because I knew that was it. It was only going to be downhill from there and it sounds like it was.

That moment only lasts for a week or two, and then it's back to business. Brock, Roman, Drew, Charlotte, Becky - they're the only ones who are booked to be dominant, everybody else is used for a moment. They give people the moment they want to see, and then they insert one of them people into it, and then the moments over.

Given all the last minute changes, last nights show was actually pretty fun, especially the main event.

I like Big E but hope he changes his gimmick up a bit. He has personality, just wish he sheds himself from the New Day shit completely.

I see them moving him back to Smackdown, and having him chase Roman Reigns title...build a program between Reigns and Big E, so he can get a win over Reigns, to make up for that Survivor Series loss.

I have no issues they had Brock go over last night. He's money and with him showing more personality it's only going to make things more interesting, especially on Monday nights when he and Lashley finally start clashing.

Keep Brock and Lashley busy together, it's a fresh feud, whereas Brock/Reigns was stale.

I think Big E was gonna lose regardless. I think they were building Lashley up to win but when they inserted Brock, no way he wasn't winning. They should have let Owens or Rollins eat the pin instead of Big E cause we know Big E isn't gonna get his win back so why let him take the L too.

Bryan Alvarez confirmed that Big E was supposed to win the match before Roman was pulled.

Real talk, y'all should have stopped when they did Kofi grimy.

I was done since then. All my WWE news is via report now.

Heard Liv did her thing but no crowd love killed her.

This thread and Youtube for me once that happened. And youtube is still mostly AEW.

I only watched NXT pre pandemic and YouTube RAW & Smackdown highlights. Once covid started and they took fans away I completely lost interest in WWE. Other than Romans heel turn I wasn't keeping up with anything that didn't evolve blacks winning a title.

After the Kofi shit, I vowed to never give WWE another dollar and haven't.

I used to buy the games and I had the network a few times, probably would've bought some merch and I might've even considered going to a live show if their booking was worth a damn.

I had an opportunity to win free tickets to Day 1 last week, I didn't even try to win them because I had no interest in seeing any of those matches or any context to the storylines.

Night 1 of NJPW: Wrestle Kingdom 16 starts tomorrow morning at 2:00AM our time. My ass will be asleep but I will be checking it tomorrow evening after I get off of work.

Everybody has different experiences.

These fucking people keep mentioning Tony Khan as a person of color.

Being a person of color does NOT offer you the same experience as being Black.

I'm a Person of Color. I'm Puerto Rican and although I acknowledge my African Blood, I would NEVER try to say my experience is anywhere near close as someone who was (capital B) Black.

Hobbs is coming off like a real company man. Damn near at Booker T levels.

Fuck that dude. Ol' Stephen from Django defending ass.

I haven't watched much of NXT since the 2.0 era but Bron Breakker with the "woof" chant, is gonna be a superstar. Not feeling Grayson Waller or Von Wagner. The men's division seems super weak. I have to watch more of Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams but I've heard good things about them. The women are a little better. IO and Raquel should do well on the main roster. I like Kayden Carter & Kacy Catanzaro. Both are tiny but that really doesn't matter in the women's division.

2.0 is like they're trying to create wrestlers in a shop. You get your personality from being out on the indies, working high school gyms. You just can't give someone a skateboard, lip ring and colorful suit, (Cora Jade), have her smile and create a superstar. Doesn't work like that.

Agreed and well said. It's like the music biz. The artists that have that career longevity are the ones that have paid their dues and built an organic fanbase.

WWE predictions:

Austin Theory wins the rumble

Theory v Ballor at Elimination Chamber. Theory steals victory

Wrestlemania prediction: Brock v Roman v Austin. Heyman turns on Brock to help Roman, but Theory steals the victory becoming Youngest Undisputed Champion
