It's clear you dont know shit about this topic lol. Find an average "performance" car and line it up against donkmaster in the quarter mile. Many "high performance" have tried and failed... vettes, hellcats and demons included. Better yet, line up whatever performance car you can find with this box chevy and ill bet with the box.

There’s levels to performance and we know of these dude are putting 200k into a car, we know they could build a high performance car but that ain’t the Souf Florida culture that we pay attention to
Performance consists of many things and low on the list is straight-line speed. Balance, power to weight ratio, weight transfer, etc. A Mazda Miata right off the lot would destroy that thing at Sebring.
If you want to say it's a drag racer, fine. Say that. But it sure ain't no performance car and as a matter of fact, a Civic-R with 10k mods would smoke it on the strip.
I never demeaned, in fact, I made it a point not to demean, the car and the culture but it's simply not a performance car. Period.

You like what you like but none of those cars could be considered performance. Maybe not even dragsters. I'd have to see their drag setup and what class they'd compete in.
Once again, I'm not talking about how they look or the culture, I'm speaking strictly about performance and none of them could handle the most basic turn let alone something like Bergwerk or the Corkscrew. In fact I'd love to see them sliding all over Willow.

Let's see, where to start? The many sanctioned races I've competed in? The tracks I've driven, including The Ring twice? The dozens of engines I've built? The cars I've modified? The drags I've done both legally and illegally? I just can't decide really.

I never said these cars don't have high-performance ENGINES. But they are not high-performance VEHICLES.
Anybody who doesn't understand the difference knows less than zero about auto racing and I'm done trying to explain to ignorant people who refuse to learn and instead want to try to ignore the facts to yack yack their incorrect narrative.
And anybody whose been to an NHRA event or knows anything about the NHRA should know the ONLY reason they give these fringe vehicles classes is so they can charge higher fees. Duh. Didn't know an "officially sanctioned" NHRA class has higher entrance and insurance fees? Do some research and get educated.
I'm out. Going to go pull some heads off an LS and see what we can get out of her.
