Lil Devin dead: Rapper killed aged 24 after 'masked men' storm New Year’s Eve party
The American rapper was killed at a family party when 'several' masked men burst in and attacked him. Police have appealed for witnesses to step forward with evidence.

American rapper Lil Devin has been killed after a group of masked men reportedly stormed a New Year's Eve party – sparking a police hunt for the killers.

The 24-year-old musician was killed in front of horrified family members – before being rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Lil Devin, whose real name is Devin Swain, sustained "injuries to his chest" but the exact cause of death has not been revealed.

The incident took place in the city of Anderson in Indiana with police being called out over reports of a home invasion robbery.

The rapper's brother, Donald Cox, told Fox59: "It was traumatic very traumatic some thing that I wouldn’t want anyone to ever go through. I wouldn’t wish that on anyone’s family.

"It's definitely hard we never really expected like something like this to come about to such a phenomenal person.

"He was just one of those people that believed in me before I even believed in myself."
