Did i miss it or did the kids not realize Tom is the snitch? I'm guessing (or missed something) Tom told Logan the plan and he reached out to the mom. I guess Shiv just doesn't believe Tom would do it because she and the brothers don't respect him.it could have been planned out in advance, but it didn't seem that way based on the talk between Greg and Tom.
Also, the mom and her husband being a problem was good foreshadowing. Especially the mom basically saying she wasn't fit to have kids.
My only issue is Logan seemingly giving up the company. Control and respect always seemed more important than money. It was a good cliffhanger, but I'd rather they cut the Birthday episode and show us the out come of the last episode.
