According to Hardware Unboxed, the 6900XT is going for $1500 on eBay. I love my 3090, but I wouldn't pay $2900 for it when an AMD card can be had for half that.
It'll still be a while before there's any tangible benefit. There currently isn't a noticeable difference between a gen3 drive and a gen4 one.
Just copped one, they had about 7 left. guess when you have to buy at store scalpers cant hoard them.
