Yeah that’s foul of KD’s advisor to tweet that but…

KD was leaving regardless. Playing with the Warriors it would’ve always been Steph’s team, and he would’ve always been seen as riding the coattails of Steph and the Warriors to win championships.

He had to leave and I knew he was leaving before that final season started.

This is the same cracker that wanted KD to go to the Knicks so it's fair to say he ain't his advisor but business partner. KD if anything moves to the beat of his own drum

He won his chips and handled his business. He's an east coast dude who has never played near home. NY is close enough to the DMV for fam to come up in a matter of hours but not close enough to where their always around

I didn’t say he didn’t handle business, he was the Finals MVP and they would’ve won a 3rd chip if he wasn’t injured.

And they would’ve probably won chips 4 and 5 had he not gotten injured and stayed.

But it was still Steph’s team, and players have egos.

It’s one of the reasons players don’t come play with Bron, because they’ll be under Lebron’s umbrella.

That sounds logical now but again this guy is in his ear which is his right but he gets to hide as well.
I got no problems with KD never have never will
AND he may or may not have been leaving but we for sure know that THIS GUY his most trusted advisor would and did make sure he did even if he felt like he could potentially stay and just play ball.

that's kd's entire thing right? i don't cut my hair put lotion on don't do shit just hoop lol

Nah he's an advisor and KD def listens to him otherwise he wouldn't be around
but all of this isn't even about KD
it's about the cac getting to say shit and be slick when his only relevance is proximity to KD
being empowered when he ain't SHIT
so it's not even a kd vs steph thing they are good and friends for life
it's this dude speaking on kd's behalf without actually speaking for KD

You’re probably right about his advisor pushing him to play, but KD HAD to play because that series was over and KD wouldn’t have played a game!

So I understood why he played. And it was his achilles that was issue the whole time, whatever they reported the injury was they were lying.

In 10 years we'll be able to have a honest conversation about that series and how 2 starters tore their acl's, twisted ankles and a decimation of injuries during a series and it still went to 6 cause of 1 guy

and to this day that dumb coach still coaches against him that way saying fuck winning idc if we lose by 90 lets just stop him

Gotta post the initial tweet because that put things in perspective



I don't think it's a Steph thing but a lack of respect the Nets gets in NY thing. We've been the best team in NYC the last few years but all radio and papers post are the Knicks. I know as someone who supports the Nets this could be frustrating when the local market doesn't give a fuck about you but the rest of the world does.
