Yup. Man when Tom told Greg, “who in this fucking family has ever looked out for you ..” he wasn’t talking to Greg but talking about himself. Just like Shiv did with that pillowtalk. He meant every bit of that shit and used that fuel to stab his wife in the back.

You could see it coming this whole season.
Shiv got way too comfortable and was feeling herself since she believed that she was the only sibling left for her father to choose and didn't see Roman as a threat.
That same attitude leaked into her marriage and treatment of Tom who she never respected but sort of cared for.
However, being drunk with the power she thought she had made her overplay her hand with Tom who she thought would never have the balls to do what he did.
But telling him on multiple occasions last episode she doesn't love him is what really pushed him over the edge.
I don't see how you talk to anyone in that room again?
The whole "it's just business" thing is a tired excuse

She was never going to have his child and was barely fucking him.
He had nothing to lose.
This move actually gives him more power in his relationship and career.
She'll have to respect him more moving forward, she'll have no choice.
I think next season we'll see her treating Tom totally different next year in an effort to disarm him and regain the upper hand in their marriage.

Roman is going to need to be on suicide watch! He saw that Logan don't give a fuck about him and saw him as his little Yes Daddy bitch boy. Tom better not go to sleep around Shiv, she might shank his ass! 
Nah she can't afford to cut him off, he's in a better position with her father and in business than she is at this point.
She's going to get payback against him that's inevitable but she'll have to play the good, loving wife in order to put herself in a position to do it.
Next year we'll see her having to deal with shit she's never had to before which will definitely make for interesting and unpredictable television.
I like the scorched earth approach better. I want them to align and just wreck the shit out of all of it.

so his manipulation attempts always fell on deaf ears
his bullying Greg (window on how he treats those with less power than himself -or when not useful)
the jail play was just another manipulation attempt with lackluster response in Tom's eyes
Tom is not blood but he is in the inner circle, notice Tom is always included in the big meetings? If he plays his cards right I see no reason for Logan not to make him boss.

Now tom isn't one of his kids and can slide in
And now they're in the cold so he can setup the board to favor Logan only and not worry about the kids
