All EV's are down, but there is fear of China de listing nio and other Chinese stocks
Again with this delisting... good dollar cost average price but shit i just opened a nice position in sq... so hands are tied

I think block and payal are good long term buys, not sure if one is better than the other though. Both are in a good position to start offering purchases through crypto to the masses.Again with this delisting... good dollar cost average price but shit i just opened a nice position in sq... so hands are tied

Please elaborate....You may come to realize the error in your ways.
It's going to go lower because it's not a good play. Please elaborate....
Do you mean, I should've waited till it went lower? Or ...Do you think $SQ isn't a good play?
Thanks.
Just sharing...

Blackrock and Vanguard invest in almost every company though so them having money in nio has no significance.Let me know when Blackrock and vanguard dump their shares... if they dump their shares the stock would plummet back down to a penny stock.. just my opinion...
They keep everything simple!

I actually own shares, I'm down 15% I'm hoping to break even by nio day then I am out. I like the stock but the CCP is too unpredictable. At the end of the day you have to decide whats best for you.. im just here share n grow...
I think SQ is good company, they havent missed an earning lately...its probably gonna pullback more like alot stocks. But it should come back charging like a bull. Please elaborate....

I own shares as well... im down.. but nothing i havent seen before.. and yes it can get unpredictable.. i been told that before about just the Chinese stocks in general... and plus its different its strickly and electric car company unlike ford.. where they have traditional and newly found electric.. so all nio eggs are in one basket, where as ford could make mistakes n it may not affect the stock at all... but imma ride it out. For now... the ev market now is getting very crowded...
Keep n mind all it will take is some nio exec to say some dumb shit about freedom or criticize the CCP and![]()
Agreed. What tech funds do you suggest? Got the basic S&P and total market. The tech funds seem a bit daunting. I’d like one with a more than likely return. Given how technology evolved on nearly a daily basis is an “index fund of tech” even really possible?2 index & two tech, no stress

Thank you for the input. Real estate has and still is a standard method for wealth acquisition. Trying to get involved there too.You can do two vanguard index or etfs. I currently have vanguard vtsax index and the vti etf which are basically the same. My two techs are Apple & tsm. Notice my 2 techs are some of the top market cap techs.
90% of my funds go there and 10% I play with individual stocks and etfs.
Full disclaimer though I'm not a stocks expert like some of the cats in here. I made most of my bread from real estate but I'm starting to get more active in long term stock plays.

What made you both do an S&P 500 AND a Total US Market fund in the same portfolio? I'm a proponent of one or the other, but see having both as redundant.
To be honest with you, I didn't realize until after selecting them they were basically the same (I was just anxious to get my vanguard accounts started).
I plan to switch VTI out for something different.
