I haven't watched wrestling in quite a few weeks, probably since the last WWE PPV. Not familiar with Hit Row or most of the talent released, save for Morrison.

I'm just finding it difficult to care about wrestling, AEW and especially WWE lately.

Kind of just lost interest in it. Survivor Series is this weekend and I may check it out, but I'm honestly just losing interest in the sport.

Specifically because of all these WWE cuts.

WWE never let's you have a chance to get behind someone and AEW shows the same people I have no interest in watching.
I'm kind of the same way. I don't even know who the hell Hit Row is lol. I just pop in and out....i'd love to go to a show in person but aside from that? I personally don't get how people can hype up AEW but then knock WWE. Both seem to be lackluster but shit it is what it is.

I know i'm just speaking on the irony of it all lol. She was in the WWE and its just now hitting her how fucked up it was lol? It was fucked up before she even got there. They never gave a damn about their workers.

I could see if she was somewhere like "gee golly, WWE's such a great place to be, the greatest place on Earth!" and now she's like "burn this muthafucka down!" Or like how Top Dolla was like "we good because we can cut promos" and Vince was like:

oh-no-you-didnt-pout.gif

But other than that, she just got a sold a dream just like everybody else who got fired and everybody who's still there. HHH, too.

Except for Morrison, all these people were HHH projects. HHH probably thought he would have more pull and input at this point of his career. But nah, everything he touched getting tossed out except his wife and his best friend.

WWE's been fucked up regarding several issues, but the fuckery is at a whole new level now, it's unprecedented. They went from releasing people here and there, to doing it every quarter. They fired like 70-80 wrestlers just this year. How many people you ever heard of getting promoted and then fired in the same month, the same week? They fired Drake, brought him back, then fired him again the next year. These are new lows here.

That was silly why even bring him back to do silly promos? Makes no sense.

Jade/Red Velvet observations from tonight's Rampage: Probably Jade's best match thus far but boy does she still has some ways to go. Her movement and timing is still too sloppy. Her selling could be better too. She sells like Charlotte Flair, awrful! All this will come with more matches under her belt. Her potential is incredible though. If she can keep improving and get her ring skill up to the level of a Thunder Rosa she would be the greatest force in women's professional wrestling.

Yeah. It reminds of Cesaro. Well the difference at least. Cesaro came up wrestling with guys who smaller that him in the different territories he worked with. So he knew what to do to control his body in the ring along with being a good base for smaller workers to pull their style of offense off. Her arms and legs or so long that takes longer for her to do moves if she isn't aware of the size difference between her and her opponent. Like take for instance, when bigger wrestler would face smaller guys, they would over exaggerate their moves to greater emphasize the mismatch with a smaller guys to show their ability to get around him. But bigger guy's knows when to tighten up moves so it doesn't look like the smaller guy is waiting for the move to happen. It's all in understanding positioning. It's the little things.

What if...and here me out. What if this is the ceiling for Jade? We have seen it more often than not that models come in and are just WAY to rigid to progress. People who have a background in falling down outside of wrestling like a stunt coordinators seem to do a HELL OF A LOT better.

based on recent track record what's the over/under when Xia Lee, Aalyiah, Toni Storm and Viking Raiders getting let go.

Montez got star written all over him but for Dawkins case they better never get split up cause he next
Xia is Chinese and they're trying to appeal to that market. I can see her sticking around a bit longer.

they not doing a great jump with her catering week after week
there were also a whole bunch of Indian wrestlers that WWE signed to appeal to that market and most of em were cut

That's definitely a possibility but I'm not going to say for certain that this is Jade's ceiling until she's had at lease a hundred matches under her belt. She needs the reps. The problem is she can't properly get the reps because they don't want her to lose. Those squash matches don't help her at all. She needs longer matches where she can work on selling and fluidity in her movement.

I'd say Xia Li's in danger because WWE's trying to "Marvel" up her character with these comic book vignettes and giving her character an elaborate backstory.

With the exception of Taker and Kane, there aren't a lot of wrestlers who got over because of their backstory in general. But WWE in particular have been very shit as this lately. Ryker, Keith, Carrion, Nikki Cross, Aleister, etc.

It's like they're doing all this shit to tell this story, but most of that shit ain't gone matter when she's facing Sasha Banks and 'em.

All the other wrestlers are just like "we just came here to wrestle and shit", and her character's like "somebody tried to kill my family when I was a teenager and I fucked them up and I'mma fuck y'all up, too!" and that's only going to translate to her character just being angry all the time.

When they start giving gimmicks like that, like "this why I'm evil/angry/happy" gimmicks, it just feels like they're throwing shit at the wall and they've only got a shelf life of a few weeks before they realize they're just wasting money trying to get that bullshit over. It's not good and it's not gonna work.

The only rematch that needs to happen is beteeen her and schevchenko. That goes for both of those ladies. They literally have no challengers. I’d have loved to have seen what zingano could have done against her. That woman is brutal when she’s on. Wish she’d never lost her tits. Considering the stuff she’s been thru with losing a spouse too her mindset is just that of a killer. She’ll do great in bellator. I expect her to hold the strap soon.

She should be on every dark episode just to get her work

If Maitland Ward doesnt hurry up and contact her...

You know it's only a matter of time. If you do start to see something it'll probably be something she does with her husband. If she isn't already signed Tony needs to sign her asap. Like Jade I would watch every match she does even if she's buried on Dark or Elevation.

its doubly worse when WWE cant keep track of storylines and/or fire ppl mid stream
them motherfuckers cant chew and walk when it comes to long term story telling/character development

how they call up Nox & Shotzi as a tag, have them defeat the tag champions numerous times, get named the #1 contender only to completely ignore (and lets not talk about the women's tag champs...where there is one tag team on 2 brands combined)
break up stozi and nox...and then cut Nox

1. I know I will probably get shyt for this, but I LOVE this guy! Just straight FULL-TIME heel. Everything he does is gonna be "evil" and he just leans into it. Southerners probably love him for the reasons he wants you to hate him.
2. What a sell, granted everyone was in on it to give it more traction, but DAMN they sold the shyt out of that!
3. Basketball shorts...really? This MUST have been a long ass time ago.
