Never thought I'd say this but for me it's Cuba Gooding Jr. I've watched him give really good gritty performances in films that didn't get a lot of play like Dirty, Shadowboxer, Bayou Caviar, Wrong Turn at Tahoe and Life of a King. When he stopped making shit like Snow Dogs, Boat Trip and Daddy Day Camp in favor of showing his dramatic acting chops his stock went up a whole lot with me.

Terrence is good and has given some good performances too but his voice always sounds like he 's about to cry.

Both of these guys are the same character in every role I see them in. I guess I'll go with Cuba since he has shown more range starring in both comedic and dramatic roles. I don't think I've ever seen Terrence Howard as a lead funnyman.

whatchu mean, mayne?

When I think of an actor, neither one of these cats comes to mind. So this one is tough because they're mediocre to me.

I'm going to go with Howard based on "Dead Presidents" alone.

Not gonna vote simply because he had a small role in a GREAT Movie (Anybody could have been him 'Cowboy' in DP)... Now if he had been playing the lead role (Larenz's character) I could see it.

Cuba was the lead character in a REALLY GOOD movie/project (Men of Honor/ACS-OJ Simpson)...More impactful performance = BETTER ACTOR

I can't argue with you...

With these two, I can flip a coin and be Okay with the outcome.

Cuba is a damn drunk and random ass grabber. I think that's why his career didn't take off.

Who knows, but dude is ALWAYS drunk on those morning talk shows.

I still give the nod to Cuba for the better actor though. Howard is pretty good though.....

can’t agree that a man with an Oscar didn’t have a successful acting career.

wven though he fumbled the bag with Marvel….

His career didn't take off???. He's won an Oscar and had major roles in over 60 movies and starred in over 30 TV movies and series. Pretty good career I'd say.:hmm:

You Cuba's cousin or something?

I just meant that once he won his Oscar he didn't get elite status in Hollywood. Even he admits that.

Sure he's rich and famous, so good for Gooding.

I with you on this one. Six of one, half dozen of the other. Cuba's had more prominent roles but neither of them come to mind when I think of a Thespian. :dunno:

You should be apologizing to Mrs. Cooper for not paying attention in her remedial English class.
Nigga, fuck you! ( laughing ) Don't be mad at me because you were constantly stuffed in lockers as a kid.

How was my sentence structure Mrs. Cooper?
