I'm old enough to remember when there were pages and pages of niggas saying Steph had to prove it
after 3 championships and 2 MVP seasons

Yes that was early last year when his team was struggling and getting the pure shit beat out of them.

Lebron dragged bums to the playoffs and Finals and Steph couldn’t get his team to the playoffs. That’s who was being compared to.

Yes it was early in the season, y‘all let us know that and we acknowledged it. But still.

So now the situation’s reversed, they’re winning and it’s early in the season and you come in hear beating your chest…

No beef, just saying.

Let's take it from the TOP

His team was struggling because they were TRASH he wasn't the roster was.
Wanna see something funny?

So the entire fucking roster of THAT

he drug to the 8th seed at the end of the season if not for rule changes they're in rule changes to let people who might not make it to the playoffs get a chance he did.

NEXT people love to point out Lebron drug bums to the playoffs and finals
NOT AT CURRY'S AGE
Yall always leave that part OUT of it
Curry is in his 30s with that unfortunate roster
Any time Lebron has had an unfortunate roster in his 30s he's made complete overhaul changes because they weren't going anywhere
so yes if curry was 25-30 COMPARE same points in same career and he should be able to do it

That argument was always dumb and a false equivalency to begin with 2 players and 2 different stages of their careers

Lebron didn't drag the laker bums to the playoffs his 1st year there did he? AND HE SHOULDN'T HAVE he's in his 30's

So I was here ALL YEAR
all last 2 years
last year Curry got them bums to the 8th seed at the end of the season

I'm not coming in here beating my chest though I haven't even been in here much we been 30 piecing good teams and no peeps out of me really not as much as I could.

But again back to the original point of all of this
You nor anyone else should've ever questioned him period there's no justification for it

I’m sorry if the truth hurts. :dunno: I like Steph but I talk it how is see it.

This year after 12 games they were 11-1.

After 12 games last year they were 6-6.

Steph was critiqued not criticized on what others have to deal with carrying a team. The team was young, not working like a well oiled machine and it was early. But we can still speak on what we observe.

It’s early but they’re looking very good! But now that they’re 12-2 it doesn’t matter how early it is because the Warriors fans are now

And I ain’t mad at’cha! And that’s the difference.

Ok let me first start by saying, I like Steph. He’s my favorite player to watch and he’s the greatest shooter ever.

But if we’re going to be honest and start from the top…

The Warriors first championship. Starter Kevin Love injured and out for the playoffs. Kyrie was injured in the first game of the Finals in a game that went to overtime that the Warriors won.

The Cavs managed to squeak out two wins in the Finals even with two starters down. The Warriors won the championship.

The next season. Cavs down 3-1, Draymond suspended one game for the dick kick. The Cavs win three games straight and are the champions.

The next season the Warriors got KD. Everyone on Earth knew it was an unfair advantage and the Warriors skated to two championships. Not knock on Steph, it’s just everyone knew that they were winning no matter what the Cavs did. If KD was on the Warriors now they’d probably be trying for a 3-Peat.

Third season with KD equals their third Finals in a row, Warriors down two starters like the Cavs in their first Finals and the Warriors lose to the Raptors.

Lastly, Curry’s been a better scorer the older he’s gotten so I’m unsure if a 25, 26 year old Curry would’ve been able to carry the load like Lebron but he might’ve.

So the reason people questioned Steph is because of the same reasons they question Lebron. They expect Lebron to put franchises on his back and win even when short handed. Steph was shorthanded and they were expecting him to do the same thing, especially when Steph was so successful against Lebron and the Cavs in the Finals.

I detailed why he was so successful though, the reasons that no one mentions.

Again, I like Steph and I like the Warriors. But what I detailed is what happened on the court.

Huge sigh.

You say Kevin love who hadn't played in the 1st round of the playoffs was a factor in the finals
but then turn around and not mention steph spraining his MCL DURING THE PLAYOFFS as a factor to the cavs championship
then say what i detailed is what happened on the court but didn't think to mention that at all as a possible factor? totally healed up from the MCL in 2 weeks but couldn't drive past the aforementioned kevin love?

so how are we being honest and from the top?

Steph last year did put the franchise on his back and took a group of bums the entire year without trades from gm's to get more help to the 8th spot
and looking at that roster that was a fucking miracle

He'll never get the credit he deserves that's clear and it's all good.

I'm old enough to remember when there were pages and pages of niggas saying Steph had to prove it

He may win his 3rd MVP this year if he keeps it up.

Question is will he sustain it throughout the playoffs like the great ones do ( *cough* Lebron, Jordan, etc. ) or disappear like he always does?

Kerr is ACTUALLY coaching this year not going through the motions thankfully
I've been complaining about that shit for 2 years
this is what coaching looks like
got an entire new staff to develop young players instead of sending them somewhere else then expecting them to contribute.
if teams score 4 or 6 points in a row he doesn't sit there he calls a timeout.

that's all i asked. just TRY

Moody idk about i don't know where he fits in but he seems like an OK player

Kuminga is going to be a monster and you can tell because Kerr has him on the court and Kerr don't fuck with rookies like that
Kuminga is only 19 and won't be 20 until next October.
