Aaron Rodgers lied about being vaccinated

Look how shit gets twisted over time. Getting vaccinated is to protect you from suffering from the worst effects of COVID-19, not prevent it. Now people who are not vaccinated are seen as a pariah, as if they are the carriers of the virus and are frowned upon when it's found that they haven't been vaccinated. He tried some alternative method that didn't work and because he didn't get a shot from one of the "Big Three", he's getting bad press. Had he followed the "science" and gotten vaccinated, we'd be hearing that he's sidelined until he test negative. :smh:
Getting vaccinated is meant to protect you from getting infected. If you are
infected, somehow, vaccination mitigates the severity of or even eliminates
sickness

Let’s be honest, they’re overreacting because it could be worse.
Of course they are, because of course it could be.

COVID isn't always a death sentence, but we still don't know what we don't know. In a perfect world, not catching it is still safer than catching it, and being vaccinated is (at least according to popular science) safer than not being vaccinated.

But something I think that's lost on folks that want to say how this disease isn't that bad is that sometimes that's not the point. My real issue with all of this skirting of rules and protocols designed for safety is that it's just a sneak preview of how people will behave with something that might be worse. People want to act like they would behave differently if it was more deadly, but nothing really bears that out. Plenty of people have died, and more than enough in my opinion to warrant precautions.

The vaccines doesn't prevent you from getting the virus.

Can you get COVID-19 after being vaccinated?

Vaccinated people can still become infected and have the potential spread the virus to others, although at much lower rates than unvaccinated people. The risks of SARS-CoV-2 infection in fully vaccinated people are higher where community transmission of the virus is widespread.

How does vaccination work?
The immune system is a network of cells, tissues and organs that work together to help fight off infection from harmful bacteria or viruses. When a disease-causing agent, such as virus or bacteria, invades your body, your immune system recognises it as harmful and will trigger a response to destroy it.

Well this could be Rogers final fuck you to the Packers. Remember he was pissed at the team all last year and demanded a trade in the off season

I wonder if Shannon “Donkeyface” Sharpe, Nick “Toucan Sam” Wright, and Skip “Bitchmade Punkazz” Bayless gonna vilify ARod like they did Kyrie…

I told y'all about this shit months ago

Why was the press handling the NFL, MLB and hockey differently than the NBA

Nobody pressed these NFL Players. The Cole Beasley shit went away quick. Meanwhile Andrew Wiggins was publicly embarrassed and called out.

You make an interesting point

To be fair they destroyed the Denver qbs who didn't follow covid protocol

then that team lost the game and was fined

And Wentz and cousins and Lamar got grilled too but followed all protocols and kept their mouth shut

While I see your point

Because football players aren't as famous and recognizable as basketball players

I think that played a part.

Cause right now Aaron is NATIONAL News and this ain't going no where

Again I kinda agree with you

Cause nhl just had a huge molestation story go basically ignored.

Black athletes will ALWAYS be targeted by media more harshly
