I would recommend that you NOT watch the last season of Goliath on Prime. It is pretty lackluster

That's unfortunate. Still working on getting back to the start of season 2 and watching it through. Been sidetracked by other shows and movies. Was season 3 considerably better than the most recent and last, season 4?

Started Squid Game - gonna need to check it out in full soon.

Have 1 episode left for Vigil.

Finished season 1 of Mr. Corman (which was recently cancelled) and season 1 of Physical.

Need to get caught up on Only Murders in the Building and Ted Lasso. Fell behind in recent weeks and have 3 - 4 eps of each on standby. Fortunately they have short running times respectively.

Have the last 2 eps of season 1 of Heels to watch.

ALL seasons of Goliath are solid... its almost as consistent as Bosch...
only issue with season 5 is last 2 eps get preachy
but considering how serious the subject is AND how poorly reported, in the media, the details of how pharmaceutical companies methodically engineered
prescription opiates for mass addictions... I'm ok with their choices

Thanks. I definitely need to watch Bosch one day. Have always heard good things & see it's available On Demand through Crave in Canada.

Yes season 3 was very good and had a shocker of an ending. Season 4 did nothing to capitalize on that ending

Thanks for the info.

Do you think they might have rushed the final season just to close things out for the series as a whole? Especially with the way the pandemic has made a mess of so many shows' production / shooting schedules.

It looks like they rushed it. Also, they didn't actively promote it like they had in other seasons or like their other key shows. We all know when a new season of Bosch, The Boys, Jack Ryan, etc., are coming out. I found this season when I went surfing on Prime and was like oh! Anyway, I finished it and have moved on.

Agreed. That's a good point re: promotional material.

Caught me off guard. I saw it posted on a streaming site, and mentioned on a podcast.

Interesting side note from 6 years ago just glancing at Wikipedia now - Costner's been with Yellowstone from 2018 to present (new season next month).

"On June 25, 2015, it was reported that Kevin Costner was in talks to join the series in the lead role of Billy McBride.[40] By June 30, he had exited talks.[41] On July 23, 2015, it was confirmed that Billy Bob Thornton had been cast in the role.[12] "

Finished Squid Game in 2 days, have been watching korean cinema for well over a decade but this was only my 2nd K Drama ever and it was pretty fire

Thinking about checking out netflix 4 ep miniseries "The Billion Dollar Code" next, about how the code for Google Earth was supposedly from this startup in Berlin in 1994 but Google did them shady like how Zuck did the winklevoss twins or something.

Chucky

In the new Chucky television series, after a vintage Chucky doll turns up at a suburban yard sale, an idyllic American town is thrown into chaos as a series of horrifying murders begin to expose the town’s hypocrisies and secrets. Meanwhile, the arrival of enemies — and allies — from Chucky’s past threatens to expose the truth behind the killings, as well as the demon doll’s untold origins as a seemingly ordinary child who somehow became this notorious monster.

I am curious as HELL if they actually gonna pull this off

cause quiet is kept

the OTHER series based on horror movies?

like Psycho (which actually had a loyal following), Damian and Exorcist were actually quite good. and would have thrived if put on different platforms.

I posted this before, but looking back Wifered had to be one of the craziest, warped, well-written, mysterious, and at the same time funny (dark humor) shows I've ever watched. Here is a brief rundown video, with spoilers. But at the end of the day, there are plenty of theories trying to explain what actually happened on the show. Here is a little clue, there is no way in hell you can guess what's going to happen from show to show let alone the whole series, but when you finish and start to think back things start coming together.

1st ep of new gold mountain caught my interest, only 3 more eps since its a miniseries. Trying to finish these last couple eps of Titans even tho this season's writing has been all over the place.

Season 3 started off nicely ...

key to a good super hero show make sure the villains r strong ...they make the show ...

that mad hatter dude killed it ...n alice is always great she carries the show ...

i hope Robin Givens does her thing ...

Legends Of Tomorrow's new season started up.. looks like they pulling a Gene Rodenberry's Andromeda with Gideon in humanoid form

The Big Bang Theory(HBOMAX)

I started binge watching this a month ago, and I thought it was a good series. I mostly like the later seasons, when one of the side characters starts to get more air time. Which is Stuart.

Dude had me me laughing my ass off. By being almost always down on his luck. But I like how things turn around for him by the series end. As for recommending this show. I would recommend it but i know this show might not be for everybody.

There was a few things I didnt like about the show though.

1. Like, how all of a sudden at the very end. One of the story lines kind of took a serious tone. I felt the shit could have been settled a few seasons ago, but I guess they injected the serious tone for a ratings grab :dunno:

2.How Raj story ends.

3.How family members' from various characters shows up toward the end of the series. When the characters were mentioned as far back in seasons 3 and 4.

4. The long ass episode names. Shit was kind of annoying.

The Blacklist(Netflix) Seasons 6-8

:yes:Now im caught up on this show. I knew about some of the major shit that went down in seasons 3,4 and 8. Because my father and unc was openly discussing what they thought whats going to happen in season 9. I would look at them and be like damn, im just starting season 2:lol:But it was all good.

One thing that came to mind while watching the season 8 finale. Was, this reminded me of Metal Gear 3 Snake eater. Of how they did the whole flashback/

present time sequence.
