UPDATE : Jon Gruden RESIGNS as Raiders HC in the midst of 2011 racist email scandal

He just told you how white people felt. He’s white and he told you exactly what their mindset is.

It’s wrong by definition as far as what racist is but now you have a view of what they think from one of their own.

 :lol:I know you can't be serious, did you read his response and my response to that?

Stop using the word “we “…. I keep telling you lot of those black faces are handpicked…. Do you think the owner picks people that goes against his best interest? They surround themselves with ass kissers and yes men..dudes that fall in line.. it’s only a few that are different and that’s because of marketability.. even those marketable 1s know they have to tip toe around certain subjects… just cause a person has a black face dosent mean he’s a bro… you stuck on their complexion meanwhile I’m peeping their actions and words.. the 1s who are defending him are who I thought they were

You making a very good point bro

I hate the well he/she never showed that around me. Skip just said that on Jerry Jones when he was writing his books. No shit, if he said that in front of you as a journalist it would of came out some where through the years and he would not be an owner anymore. People know who to speak derogatory around and who not to.

People who say on a serial killer that we use to have him over for dinner and he was so kind. Well a serial killer is not going to say, Hey I have a secret. You know that killer that's been in the news thats me. But hey i like you and we can still be friends. Dinner again next Tuesday, cool see you then.

My mother use to drive a co worker to work on weekends. One day going to school I saw yellow tape on his door. Came home asked my mom and she said he chopped up his wife in front of their one year old child then took his own life. My mom didn't say he never showed that around me. She said its sad someone lost their life and now a kid without parents. And she said what if that would of been me. And this was a black man on a military base.

Raiders Hall of Famer Tim Brown defends Jon Gruden

Jon Gruden says he did not intend to be racist when he insulted DeMaurice Smith in an email 10 years ago, and Hall of Fame wide receiver Tim Brown believes his former coach.

Brown, who played for Gruden with the Raiders from 1998-2001, defended his longtime friend in a recent interview with SiriusXM Radio. Gruden has said he wrote in the 2011 email that Smith “has lips the size of michellin tires” as a way of calling the NFLPA executive director a liar. Brown said he has heard Gruden use the phrase “rubber lips” to describe people he believes are being untruthful.

“I’ve heard Jon use the term rubber lips before, meaning that this guy’s double-talking, or he’s doing whatever,” Brown said, as transcribed by the Las Vegas Review-Journal. “That’s just a term that he uses.”

Brown said he thinks so highly of Gruden that some people might think he’s talking about his father with the way he gushes over the coach. The Raiders legend added that he has never experienced anything in all his years of knowing Gruden that indicated Gruden is racist.

“Never, ever have I gotten anything from him that made me even pause, to think about, ‘Hmm, that didn’t come off right,’” Brown said. “I think if you know Gruden, if you know anything about him, or if you’ve been around him, especially for the length of time that I’ve been knowing him, then you would have gotten a hint that this guy is not right. There’s something that’s not right about him. There’s no way I would have ever.”

That meshes with the message Mike Tirico and Tony Dungy delivered during NBC’s “Sunday Night Football” broadcast. Both analysts defended Gruden’s character and said they felt his apology was sincere.

The Raiders condemned Gruden’s remark about Smith in a statement. It’s unclear if the 58-year-old will face disciplinary action from either the team or the NFL.

Because white people define racism on how they present themselves to the world. Not on what they say amongst themselves.

In their minds, as long as you're not wearing hoods, burning crosses, or calling people slurs you're not racist. Those "jokes" you told amongst your friends and family don't count. Hulk Hogan didn't consider his words racist because it was done during pillow talk with another white person in the bed.
^^^This.
It's a way to maintain the idea that they are morally superior and incapable of being wrong about their worldview.

They have been given the platform to speak on out behalf
