Seems too small scale for him. I seen them Impact crowds, even the PPV audiences look meager. His act is built on crowd reaction.
How many times have they done the heel (and a entire camera crew apparently) invades the face's house and now it's personal angle. WWE writers really think the fans have the memory of a goldfish.
I think maybe because I had stopped watching wrestling by the early 90's and missed the entire Monday Night Wars / Attitude Era, I don't get the tribalism or the defensive nature a lot of fans take today for promotions. Like people on Twitter and Reddit be wishing for companies to go out of business or be going hard for Vince or Tony Kahn. It's weird to me.
I'm more appalled that he ate an apple and chased it with orange juice.....

To me, WWE vs. AEW arguments are the wrestling equivalent of Jordan/Lebron arguments.
I'm a proponent of "you could always like both" or be a fan of one without tearing down the other one.
I like Jordan and Lebron. I like WWE and AEW.
I think of WWE as the Wizards-era of Jordan. He's still Jordan, but like the better days are behind them. And I think AEW as first Cleveland run-era of Lebron. People are waiting for AEW to "beat" WWE in something tangible, just like people were waiting for Lebron to get his first ring.
Now although I don't like WWE's current programming, I don't want them to go out of business or anything. As a matter of fact, I follow it because I want it to be good again because competition is good.
For the last few years, WWE's just been coasting it, and it wasn't until a couple weeks ago that WWE felt some pressure to put on some decent programming.
No competition gives you Madden games and niggas talking about 2K5 every year for 16 years like clockwork. That's what WWE's been.
But I realize I'm in the minority, tho. I see Twitter and YouTube comments everywhere, people be acting like they want either WWE or AEW to fail for real.
Impact hasn't resume touring yet. They still broadcast at their quarantine location. That may change after Bound for Glory PPV when they go to Vegas.
That's true. It's hard to talk sports, religion, politics, vax status, morals, etc., with most people these days. I stay out them threads now because people you disagree with would rather wish you death and misfortunate before you see them proven wrong.
The truth is only what you believe, so I just let people believe what they want to believe. I don't need people to believe the same shit I believe in.

Wyatt needs to go to AEW. No one watches nor knows wherever Impact airs.
If he joins Impact and no one watches, there will be excuses of Impact having poor visibility as far as whatever network theynair on.

Crazy thing is if Vince did this EVERYBODY would hate it, but it's the indies so it gets a pass.
I hate this match because it made me actually understand Jim Cornette's point about modern wrestling.
Cornette and others who think like him believe all wrestling should fit into a traditional one dimensional box and anything that dares live outside of that box is considered trash. The modern wrestling mindset is we want to do more than just traditional wrestling. We want to do comedy, Lucha libre, strong style, hardcore, etc.
There's room for comedy in wrestling, it just doesn't need to be in every match or the focal point of a match.
Too many guys today just take wrestling as one big joke, like they're playing a role in comedy rather than making the act look legit.
Like dude said, if WWE does a match like that they (rightfully) get killed for it.
A lot of these indy promotions only have comedy to rely on, so they get a pass.
I couldn't name one single promotion other than maybe DDT that has comedy in nearly every single match. As far as it being the focal point of a match if it's a comedy match then yeah that's the point.

WWE stans are hypocrites at the highest order. You can't shit on a match like that yet accept the super natural gimmick of the Undertaker or Kane, or Donk the clown or Mankind and Mr socko, etc. It's all fantasy bullshit. "Making the act look legit"? Everything doesn't need to look legit it just needs to entertain. If I want legit I'll watch the UFC.
