The defense actually played pretty well until the Fourth quarter....
It hurts me to say this... but I've got to put some blame on Jrob ... We only had three outside linebackers. D Autry had to play some outside linebacker yesterday. Landry once again... played the entire game including some special teams... which is fucking crazy. A 3-4 team has got to have outside linebacker depth and Jrob didn't do it. Once Weaver went down and you see that Dupree isn't back yet.... You should have pulled in Jamie Collins or someone else for help.
Also... he should have drafted higher at Wideout and/or tightend. Reynolds played better once he got back to game speed... but man we needed someone else.
As for the corners... here is the problem. Things fell apart with the DBs when Chris jackson (the nickel) got injured in the Second quarter. For some reason... the team moved Fulton to the Slot and Borders to the outside. Fulton Struggled in that spot which ended up leaving the Safeties on islands... (Hence the PI call against Dane) ... their communication went to shit.. I don't know why they didn't move Borders inside and left Fulton at his natural spot.
Also JackRabbit is getting murdered. I'd rather have Borders and Fulton on the outside.... Jackson in the Slot and Jackrabbit the 4th corner.

I always felt like this was a trap game ..... Jets have a really good and aggressive defensive front and without Aj Brown and Julio ..... we couldn't rely on the quick game or deep throw to off set it and make them back off.

Downing has gotten predictable and he is struggling on 3rd and short calls which doesn't make sense..
It's 3-4 or 3-5 .... Why take Henry out of it? Henry has shown that he can catch now, plus he is one of the few backs that can get you 4 to 5 yards easily. Why take him out and make things one-dimensional
Yes McNicohols is a better pass blocker.... but everyone knows when he comes in.... WE ARE PASSING .....
Also that first half.... We tried to be way to fucking cute on the 3rd downs in the red-zone. It's 3-2 in the 10.... Why have Tanny in the shotgun.

I hope yesterday's game.... detracts the Tannehill haters.... Dude was getting killed out there and still played out of his mind with a bunch of fucking backups. He had to be perfect on his throws because no one showed an ability to make space on their own. Once again he brought us down to win the game and brought us down in OT to win/tie it. He gained my respect. But he isn't going to survive with this OL.
Releasing Dennis Kelly is going to end up being one of Jrobs biggest blunders. I get it.. because we didn't have caproom but I would have cut someone else.

That first time he started worshiping Mac Jones he got sacked 2 times back to back so he chilled out for a bit but I think it was after the TD or the completions he just went crazy, every sentence was Mac Jones this Mac Jones that, I hope Houston beats the breaks off them next week..lol
