Cube has the catalog but I can't see him matching Busta's on stage energyIce Cube would want that smoke.
Outkast (if they reunited) would want that smoke.
And like i said before, Missy is a problem.

Well damn... I hear you cuz
From the clips I seen in this thread ?
It looks like Ja and Joe seemed to be very in sync with each other and rehearsed all the "conflict".
So I feel like that is going to effect my judgement of the "battle" greatly.
Oh Joe knows better than to even play around with that sh*t
I'm sorry... period
I was wrong period
Basically the opposite of every apology da baby used before he sat down with every single hiv awareness group in North anerica
Lox vs Dipset proved you need to have stage presence regardless of having hits. Dipset should've won when you think about how many bangaz they have that still gets club/party play (and I'm not a Dipset fan) but the LOX crushed them cuz they controlled the stage from the jump and never relinquished their stranglehold. There are very few fucking with Busta’s stage presence.
You just have to defeat him with songs (which is also tremendously difficult cause Busta has soooo much to pull from)
Also, quiet as kept….50 Cent might make Busta sweat. NOT saying he would win……but 50 got at least 10 tracks that are incredibly tough to beat

Remy Ma called Ja a cocksucker as well. Haven't seen any outrage yet
Thinking more about it, Busta vs Missy wouldn't be fair. The NY & Jamaican dancehall in Busta is gonna wanna battle mercilessly and Missy isn't built for that kind of clash. Busta isnt' gonna wanna be on stage being nice. He wants to be on full attack while having fun doing it. I don't see that kind of vibe coming from Missy.
I always felt like Dipset was popular more cuz of their hooks and Heatmakerz tracks than actually lyrical wordplay. I was all in for the Lox to win but felt like the Verzuz battles were more popularity contests at times and with Dipset having so many popular club songs would ride out on that wave. Lox was always more street and definitely more lyrical. LOX was so good with their performance and stage command that they washed Dipset with lower tier songs to the point where by the time they dropped their big tunes, it was already a wrapI’m 36 from Queens NY.
I was outside when D-Block was D-Block and I was outside when Dipset was Dipset.
On paper, it looked like an even match, but I knew from jump that The Lox would wash them niggas.
Between all their Bad Boy, Ruff Ryders, D-Block and all their solo shit, they are a hard out. Not even mentioning all their features.
NOW, their stage show, presence and performance made it a massacre.
Cause some of them Dipset records should’ve worked (Dipset Anthem, I Really Mean It) but they got bodied lol
Missy would need to pull out a personality we've never seen before. We've all seen Busta go cutthroat and gully on and off stage.now on THAT specific point?
I agree...
but I don;t want to underestimate
or OVER estimate anyone
cause its not like we aint been surprised before.
Dipset are terrible performers, they have always been one of those groups who lipsync to a cd with 20 random people on stage singing along and you can barely hear a word they say.I always felt like Dipset was popular more cuz of their hooks and Heatmakerz tracks than actually lyrical wordplay. Jada knows how to perform. Gotta credit Diddy on that. He made sure his artists knew how to hold up their end on the stage. Fab sounds monotone and lazy when he raps in general so you know he wasn't gonna induce any energy in a live settingPeople thought the same with Jada vs Fab.
Fab played all his commercial hits and Jada kept it hiphop with some of his legendary verses.
And Jada smoked Fab lol.
The more popular artist doesn’t always win ( see Bobby vs Keith Sweat)
It’s about the song you play, and how you perform them at this point.
Nelly is lucky his battle with Luda was fucking up cause Luda still can perform and based off of last night, Nelly sounds like Ja Rule too
thisBusta v KRS
Luda from IllinoisLol still should be ti vs Luda… so Luda can show he the real king of atl
Nobody looks at him as a Midwest rapper
You said 98? Well obviously after Luda dropped a billion hits after that and they adopted himI was in Atlanta around 98 visiting family and they had a Ti vs Luda king of Atlanta radio battle with callers calling in. Not one person voted for Luda . People kept saying he’s not from Atlanta so he can’t be king of the A.
His buzz was already big by then I didn’t even know who he was but Atlanta did they were playing shit from that Incognegro album that hadn’t even dropped yet but they were playing some early releases singles in clubs at the time like Whats your fantasy. You said 98? Well obviously after Luda dropped a billion hits after that and they adopted him
Ice Cube would want that smoke.
Outkast (if they reunited) would want that smoke.
And like i said before, Missy is a problem.
Saw Busta and spliff perform after a hawks game one year. I didn't realize how many Busta songs I liked. He'd be tough to defeat to me.![]()
