There are very few fucking with Busta’s stage presence.
You just have to defeat him with songs (which is also tremendously difficult cause Busta has soooo much to pull from)
Also, quiet as kept….50 Cent might make Busta sweat. NOT saying he would win……but 50 got at least 10 tracks that are incredibly tough to beat

Lox vs Dipset proved you need to have stage presence regardless of having hits. Dipset should've won when you think about how many bangaz they have that still gets club/party play (and I'm not a Dipset fan) but the LOX crushed them cuz they controlled the stage from the jump and never relinquished their stranglehold.

I'm just getting to check it out. This was one of the best verzuz EASILY!!! Joe had enough hits to play the backup and they played off each other together well, it was like a concert. Rule reminded everybody he had the game on smash for a lot of summers.

On paper, it looked like an even match, but I knew from jump that The Lox would wash them niggas.
Between all their Bad Boy, Ruff Ryders, D-Block and all their solo shit, they are a hard out. Not even mentioning all their features.
NOW, their stage show, presence and performance made it a massacre.
Cause some of them Dipset records should’ve worked (Dipset Anthem, I Really Mean It) but they got bodied lol

Thinking more about it, Busta vs Missy wouldn't be fair. The NY & Jamaican dancehall in Busta is gonna wanna battle mercilessly and Missy isn't built for that kind of clash. Busta isnt' gonna wanna be on stage being nice. He wants to be on full attack while having fun doing it. I don't see that kind of vibe coming from Missy.

I always felt like Dipset was popular more cuz of their hooks and Heatmakerz tracks than actually lyrical wordplay. I was all in for the Lox to win but felt like the Verzuz battles were more popularity contests at times and with Dipset having so many popular club songs would ride out on that wave. Lox was always more street and definitely more lyrical. LOX was so good with their performance and stage command that they washed Dipset with lower tier songs to the point where by the time they dropped their big tunes, it was already a wrap
Missy would need to pull out a personality we've never seen before. We've all seen Busta go cutthroat and gully on and off stage.
Dipset are terrible performers, they have always been one of those groups who lipsync to a cd with 20 random people on stage singing along and you can barely hear a word they say.
People thought the same with Jada vs Fab.
Fab played all his commercial hits and Jada kept it hiphop with some of his legendary verses.
And Jada smoked Fab lol.

Jada knows how to perform. Gotta credit Diddy on that. He made sure his artists knew how to hold up their end on the stage. Fab sounds monotone and lazy when he raps in general so you know he wasn't gonna induce any energy in a live setting
