People just felt the shake here. That's all. Here they are recovering from the tropical storm 2 days ago. Sadly another one is coming Monday.

What I think many people can't fathom or even recall is that just 11 years ago... 200,000 plus people died in that quake. Really think about that number for a moment.
When you visit certain boards, all they have is jokes about bill Clinton. Shows you where mankind is and how short their memory is from just a year ago when the world was living in fear.
Very tragic for the people of Haiti who are no different from any of us. Just born into different circumstances.

Rather than Red Cross, why don't you start a GoFundMe for Haiti. I am sure you know some irresponsible people in Haiti.
As I posted earlier, I'm sick of Red Cross and other charity organizations asking for money, then using money meant to help to pay the salaries of their executives
The last time Haiti got hit and they gave less than 1% of the money to Haiti made me never want to donate ever again
Also, the Red Cross reps actually said, that when they ask for money after a disaster hits, they're not asking for money for THAT disaster, they're asking for future disasters. Tell me that don't sound like a bunch of bullshit?

The Red Cross does do some good work but like any major organization is subjected to some form of corruption.....
... there are some other charities out there that do some great and exceptional work and hardly get mentioned, WaterAid being the main one... in my opinion it's the best and most effective charity in operation. They have engineers who donate their time and work for free to make wells, irrigation systems and supply water to places that desperately need it.... and they show and give updates of their work all over the world... it's the only charity that I totally and 100% belief in and donate to.
