Agreed. I emailed the following clip to my dad & said to watch for Dante. Pops doesn't follow pro wrestling.

He really enjoyed the clip & said Dante was excellent ...

That's fantastic. I wish my mother still watched pro wrestling. We used to have a lot of fun watching it together when I was a kid. We're talking 84-91. We would watch NWA, WWF, and WCCW. She stopped watching sometime in the early 90's. I tried to get her back into it last year but she wasn't feeling it. She does however like the "Dark Side Of Ring" series. She liked the one they did on Macho Man, New Jack and the Bruiser Brody.

Agreed. Really enjoyed the 80s and 90s. Watched up until the late-90s / early-00s in HS / college. Lost track for a number of years. Would see occasional highlights. Got back into it in recent years after the buzz on sports / MMA podcasts. The TSN MMA Show's host would mention it (as AEW airs on TSN). And of course Kel Dansby & Andreas Hale (co-hosts of The Corner podcast) always talk about the good shit in boxing, mma, hiphop, pop culture & pro wrestling.

One of my best wrestling memories is my late aunt (passed in 2012) taking us kids to see one of the big WWF events when they were in town in the late-80s or early-90s. At the old Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver. We had great seats.

Regarding Dark Side of the Ring - yes - great docuseries. Has she heard of the series they did on A&E as well? Those are worth checking out too. Aired this past spring - may be available if she has A&E On Demand. They profiled Stone Cold, Booker T, Mick Foley, Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Piper, Ultimate Warrior, and Macho Man.

She hasn't checked those out yet. She liked Piper so I'm sure she would definitely check that one out.

Jade I love you and I think you're gonna be great but please work on the delivery of your promos. This isn't it. It sounds too forced. You can have attitude but it has to be conveyed where it doesn't sound over the top like a cartoon. It has to be natural. Keep practicing. You'll get to Britt Baker levels in no time.

Scared and aroused both at the same time... scaroused??!!

Tonight's card for the first Episode of AEW "Rampage".

Miro and Britt should retain however I'm not sure Omega retains. They might just throw Christian a bone and have him win the impact title and then have Omega face someone else at "All Out". There's a twist somewhere in this that we don't know about. Will be interesting to see what it is.

Sucks that Trips is being blamed. It's not his fault.

HHH deserve some of the blame for NXT's downfall but not all the blame. NXT was at its best when it was a 1 hour show on the WWE Network. Once they decided to go up against AEW is when their problems started. They then started to hot shot their booking instead of letting the storylines play out organically. Some of their best talent started to get called up to the main roster crippling them of star power. Then when they were regularly getting destroyed in the ratings they decided to send Charlotte there thinking she would pop a rating but essentially didn't more the needle at all and buried Rhea Ripley in the process. If NXT is a developmental brand then it should've remained a developmental brand.
