Has just as much chance at being their undoing as well (assuming by "our" you meant Black people). As you stated, generally, blacks tend to not care and hold a stance of uninvolved indifference on the matter of gayness (specifically in a political context). Lately however, there seems to be growing resentment due to the apparent force feeding of these issues and prioritization of them over our own concerns that we have been advocating for for decades/centuries. A backlash is looming and the wholly irrational and aggressive push to promote and advocate for so called "trans rights" may be the straw that breaks the camels back.
