Well it helps they can shoot and they long and tall. But I hope this helps those guys who stay in college a little longer get more looks. I never understood why they didn't. I mean I get why you take the one and done guy he's only 18 or 19....but if I'm a middle of the pack team...I'd want a guy who can contribute now.
Cam had a league ready jumper at UNC. He’s at minimum going to be a solid 3-D guy. Monty giving him big minutes and huge defensive responsibilities. And getting playtime late in games.
Its bigger than that though. Cam can shoot. He can shoot in college too. I think he went after guys who are longer, can D it up and can shoot....that's where the league is at anyway.
And we're already established in their roles in college. This is the same way they played at Villanova and Carolina
Yeah I think that is more so why he's having success as opposed to him staying in 4 years...that jumper was already ready in college...a lot of guys come into he league trying to develop their jumper...he got a gun on him already.

Only take a youngin if he's potential is obvious or you got multiple picks. Otherwise take the most successful role players with NBA bodies in the draft. It translates better

Right....you are going to take the guy with the highest ceiling but at that range which I think was like 10th for Bridges and 13th for Cam.....shit that means you a team on the up anyway.
