NBA Season is Returning This Year!!!!!!!

Thoroughly impressed with PG's performance last night. That was great to see.

I'm still stuck on Philly's meltdown though. There is so much to unpack with that team and Ben Simmons is such an easy target.

I could crack jokes on that dude all day. There are so many basketball players in the world that is more useful than him at the end of games.

This was from PG last year
Los Angeles Clippers star Paul George offered his explanation for the club's 3-1 second-round playoff series collapse to the Denver Nuggets.

The All-Star forward said the Clippers relied too much on their talent and didn't properly prepare for their opponent.

Nobody on that team other than Kawhi had won anything but they believed the hype the media had put on them as the best team in the NBA. The media kinda did it this year but was scared to go all in

The "next LeBron" wants out.

After the way Jordan dickriders, Kobe stans, and their white supremacist friends trashed Bron all those years in Cleveland I don't blame any star for not wanting to play in a small market shit franchise. It ain't worth it. You can add the Miami Heat to that. There is a ceiling on your potential and players in bigger markets will always be deemed better than you.

Honestly, I'm looking around the league and he's probably the only young star who's not in the playoffs, couple that with the fact that it seems to be dysfunction in the front office, even after cleaning it out from top to bottom and I can't really blame his family for that.

Nobody wants to be the new Archie Manning and let's just be honest, NBA stars, which are primarily young Black males, do not want to play in small markets, when those small markets are losing it makes it even worse.

He needs to go to a team or play in a scheme where he has the lane open.

Kendrick Nunn and Duncan Robinson are about to become multi millionaires
Bam just got paid

None of those dudes are all stars or worth a shit. So what the team that drafted them is about to overpay them, sorry small markets do that all the time! They are overvalued and overhyped by Heat fans. Link me to a post where anyone in this thread that isnt a Heat or Pat Riley stan has spoken highly of any of them. The only player your franchise drafted and groomed worth mentioning was D Wade 18 years ago. And you never paid him his worth and now he's giving pointers to D Mitchell in playoff games as a Jazz owner.

Naw I disagree because Clippers don’t seem to be fairing that much better since be left nor did the Celtics. Doc Rivers ain’t the one out there playing….

He’s been gone 1 season and they’re in the exact same place as they were last year. 3-2 lead and game away from the WCF.

Bro he lost to nuggets after having leads in every closing game. Double digit leads

He lost a 3-1 lead twice with the clippers, with an
all time great PG, and a maybe hall fame player in Blake.

He lost a 20 point lead to the rockets with James harden on the bench. The players that beat him were a soon to be out the league Josh Smith and Corey Brewer and coach that got fired after the season. Those are on his resume. He’s just not that good of coach and it’s okay. I hate to say it becaue he’s black but got dam man. Call a spade a soade

He wants New York. I’m all for this but to say he doesn’t have the right pieces thIs early is ridiculous. Especially when you missed half your rookie year.

New York’s definitely a better destination for him, he’ll get a chance to lose in front of more people on a bigger stage!

Clippers went to Game 7 with the Mavs this year...they almost lost in the 1st round to them. They in the same spot as last year with the same players.....

I'm not saying Doc is flawless....I just don't know how much credit to give a guy for this...so I give him credit for them being up 26 and give him blame because they lost the lead too? That was some bad basketball. Past just bad coaching. That's simply good players playing bad basketball.

Miami rarely has lottery picks because they don't tank.
They have a skill at finding guys and turning them into players.

Yes it’s simple. Your making it complicated. You get a 20 point lead in the 3rd quarter you should close that game out. That’s coaching when it happens to the same coach more than 7 times. Players changed, arenas changed, refs changed, owners changed, tv stations changed, jerseys changed, commentators changed only one thing or one person remained the same in losing 20 point leads going into the 3rd and that’s Doc. He’s the common denominator.

Have said it before. You could arguably take a female off the street and she would give you about the same free throw percentage

Well let's talk about these players......

One of them is broken down big man who was out there shooting 3 pointers....
One is a big man who plays point guard and can't hit a shot to save his life.
One is one of the highest paid players in the league and he was acting like he was scared to shoot.
Then you got one guy out there who bricking but can play defense.
Then you got Doc's son in law......

Sixers out there playing 2 on 5.......

I guess if I will blame Doc for one thing is keeping these bum ass niggas out there when they was trash but then again who the hell do you bench them for? Maybe Maxey?

It ain't the pieces. They had enough to win. Stan was a disaster. I repeat. That fucka's coaching strategies consist of putting all 5 players in the worst position on the court. Adams, you are the biggest player and best rebounder, we are going to put you at the top of the key to initiate all dribble handoffs. Zion, you are our best post player without the best handles. You are going to run the point and initiate the offense. Ingram, you are our best midrange player, your handles are slow and plodding. You get to run the offense from the point too. Zo, you are our best decision-maker, you are best on the fast break, and you have the highest basketball IQ on the court. Hangout in the corner or wing for the 3. As our best point and decision-maker, you get to handle the ball a third of the time or less if the team feels like letting you. Bledsoe and/or any other guard or forward off the bench can run the point too. Hell everyone can run the point! What could go wrong?
