I thought KD was top 10 before he went to the Warriors and the Warriors just showed he "could" be clutch even though that shit was zero pressure because the team was just too fucking good. I still think the warriors move was trash and always will be to me.
KD, in my opinion, is the best offensive player in NBA history. Fuck scoring titles, averages, etc. He can shoot from anywhere on the court.. he's 7 feet and handles the ball as well as a 6 foot PG.... which means he's fucking matchup proof. You just have to hope he's missing. Even a guy like steph, i've seen him get stuck up and miss. I've seen Lebron struggle against the Mavs (more of a mental thing than anything) but they did force him to spots on the floor he still wasn't comfortable in. I've seen KD have bad games because his shot was just off.. but I've never seen him not play well because of the defense. He was just off but it wasn't because of the defense.
Offensively though, his game is FLAWLESS.
there are players that have a larger repertoire of moves..and better footwork.. like Kobe.. but literally, you can't really force Durant into bad shoots..nigga is 7 feet and can jump.. he shoots over everyone.. he always gets clean looks...
and he's an underappreciated defender. I posted something before he went to the Warriors showing he was the league's best perimeter defender statistically... it's just not something that shows up on the stat sheet in the traditional way.. that's why it was silly to match up a good defensive team with all two of the greatest 3 point shooters of all time with a great perimeter defender and also one of the greatest scorers of all time who was also one of the greatest 3 point shooters of all time![]()
You not fucking lying. I think people take KD for granted because he makes that shit look easy. I've never seen anyone as talented as him at that size.
