Welp, I can guarantee you this........when we get eliminated from the playoffs Morey is getting rid of the Beige Bitch so...............................Only thing I'm upset about that deal is Portland's gonna want Maxey and Thybulle. There are literally three (Warriors, Suns, Jazz, Mavericks) who will bomb your ass to oblivion. Unless the Lakers can match that this shit is over and frankly these ridiculous ass contracts will make it hard for them to get the kind of shooters they need to match their specific offense. That drive and kick out shit is DONE. It was done long ago when put up against another team of shooters. To make it worse they added another shooter and showed what basketball would look like if it were spades.
I believe it's time for Laker to get the best players they can and cross their fingers. The problem is they WIN and when you win you NEVER, EVER get to draft a top 5-10 player. That's the LeBron curse. Wins too much making the draft damn near meaningless. Has no choice but to build/grow through free agency and the money fucks that up. Average/Decent players locked into max money contracts. Even Shroeder's ass thought he was worth more than $80MM. Didn't do jack shit and now he's about bounce and hit free agency. He ain't seeing NO PARTS of $80MM. Not from the Lakers.

Because Lebron got more power in LA Then probably anyone......and they ended up with Vogel. Durant and Kyrie Irving gave their blessing on STeve Nash even though Jacque Vaughn was in the cut and showed he had what it takes in the bubble. So much so that the Nets made him one of the highest paid coaches in the LEAGUE and he's a assistant....
