Most definitely not lost on me that the Hedge funds are in on it. I was directing it at the TV shows talking heads trying hard as fuck to program retail into not investing because they don't know what they're doing.

I feel you... I had another oil company (Equinor) and ended up flipping it over to XOM when it was down.. so I have decent margin of safety.

Started DCA and mainly just held it for the divvy and to act as an uncorrelated asset in relation to my tech and broad market funds. The capital appreciation is a cherry on top.

Dividends were the only reason I never rolled my old 401k over. They kept coming in good. They holding on hard to be able to pay that dividend. They cut the employee 401k match a year, and locked out wage roll employees locally here in Texas. They cutting cost at every corner. They just sold some asset for a billion I read today.
