NBA Season is Returning This Year!!!!!!!

Man I typed this then deleted it but I’m say it

“Man I don’t know how Lebron do business with Dray, dude have done some questionable things towards Bron over the years. I know fuckers don’t have to be buddy buddy on the court and shit...but playing hard and unintentionally intentionally hurting folks is different.

Trust me Bruh I feel you! That play was definitely questionable and not really a basketball play. I don’t want to say that it was dirty, but he kinda hit Bron in the face with both hands.

Yes Bron is a flopper and overly dramatic and acted like Draymond’s hands were covered in Cocaine and bleach. But he did hit him right in the face.

Oh I agree and I’m probably Bron biggest supporter on here, well second biggest. Dude got plenty of flaws that flopping, drives me but I understand(cause years ago dude would get hammered and no fouls would get called). Don’t take that as me taking up for him, I’m just stating what I feel is the reason he look to sell fouls.

Nah you’re good, I like Lebron and an a Lakers fan but I call a spade a spade. He flops or goes the extra mile to “Sell Calls” just like most other players.

His are just a bit dramatic at times, but gotta sell it to get to the free throw line.

Understood

GS didn’t get away with half of the fouls LA did. It wasn’t even close the amount of bullshit the refs were calling in favor of LA. Not surprising though..:
And that’s the shit that piss me off, people feel this way but AD and Bron should operate inside and kill these guys.... they should really put the game in the refs hands.....
I’m live on this blocks and make y’all call fouls....but that shit is draining, it’s easy to launch shots vs banging

GS plays good defense. That’s easier said than done. Wiggins and Green played great defense while guarding AD and bron. I think they went a combine 2 for 19 while they were being guarded. AD and Bron also looked sluggish and still gimpy to me. Probably still hurt.....

you correct it’s easier said than done....
And they could be still not 100%

Yes ago I always said I loved to watch Cheat Code, Dray and Brodie play.... they put pressure on the defensive with they’re not stop energy.
Seem like Dray don’t play like that as much, but that non stop aggression is ego draining for most defenders
In my opinion

Dray still plays excellent defense. And GS has actually got Wiggins to play defense as well :eek2: and he’s playing it well. But Dray needs to be able to score more and stop forcing passes. Bron hit a big shot give him credit. GS gave that game away though. And the refs helped....

Before the season started Draymond said he wanted to increase his 3 point percentage and attempts. That would have helped a lot last night. I can't be too mad at him though cause he was straight locking AD up on the defensive side.

I can be mad at him. Not because he isn't a prolific scorer
But because all we really need from him is 8 points 1 bucket a quarter. asking someone to score 1 layup a quarter especially when they have the ball in their hands a lot is not too much to ask for.

lakers played him for the pass and gave him wide open lanes
instead of going to the rim for easy layups forcing them to adjust he kept trying to make backdoor passes into lanes where people were standing there.

the 2 he threw to start the 3rd quarter comeback were more irritating than careless. it wasn't careless as in he didn't see the obvious thing
it was irritating because instead of just looking to go in and make a layup he was stubborn and threw the shit anyway

Atlanta Hawks interim coach Nate McMillan fined $25,000 for saying NBA wants New York Knicks in playoffs

The NBA fined Atlanta Hawks interim coach Nate McMillan $25,000 on Thursday for making comments Wednesday "asserting bias by the NBA relating to the 2020-21 Playoffs," the league announced.

On Wednesday in a Zoom call with the media, McMillan, whose Hawks play the Knicks in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs, said the NBA wants New York in the playoffs. He said on the call that that's the message he has delivered to his team.

"Absolutely, I've talked about that to the team a lot. Basically, I've gone as far as saying the league wants this," he said. "They need this, New York, this is a big market for the league, and New York has been out of the playoffs for a number of years.

"And this is a team that our league, they want to see -- there's a huge fan base -- and they want to see New York in the playoffs."
He added: "The league wants to see it, everybody wants to see this. Even to the fact that our [opening] game was moved to Sunday, they want to see this.

"So, yes, we have talked about that, about the advantages of this situation and some things that we're going to have to face, going into [Game 1], with everyone picking New York to win and a lot of folks wanting to see New York in the playoffs. It's a battle, it's a challenge, just playing New York, all that comes with it. ... They've had a really good season, and I think the NBA is excited about having them back in the playoffs."
McMillan also said on the call that "there's going to be a lot of calls that probably won't go our way," explaining how his team needs to remain calm under the pressure.

In addition, McMillan said he told his team that most media are picking the Knicks to knock off the Hawks in the series. New York won all three games during the regular season, though Atlanta has been one of the hottest teams in the league since McMillan took over as coach shortly before the All-Star break after Lloyd Pierce was fired.

The Hawks were 14-20 when they made the coaching change. They are 27-11 since then, matching the best record of any team in the Eastern Conference over that span.

The Knicks (41-31), in the playoffs for the first time since the 2012-13 season, are set to host Game 1 against the Hawks (41-31) on Sunday at 7 p.m. ET. Atlanta is in the playoffs for the first time since the 2016-17 season.

One can live with Green not scoring if he ain’t turning the ball and making careless mistakes. It would not have mattered last night. But those bad passes were killer. It’s a tough loss because win that and I think GS is setup perfectly to get to the conference finals...

It's because the scoring isn't being aggressive or changing anything in the offense it's taking free layups which can never be detrimental to any team

as I watched the highlights.... GS only had 5 turnovers in the 1st half... I think they had 7 in the 3rd only... that ain’t good

Wonder why

Alot of people want to see a light skin Black person of affluence or a white person like JJ Barea beat LeBron James. It gets alot of views. Post the Raptors-Warriors Finals ratings. Werent too great without the King's participation.

Why is it so important to tell us how dominant Steph is in a loss? He lost. Tell us how this ruined his legacy. Or does losing have no consequences for him?

Steph Curry had 6 TOs himself. Only 3 assists. Greatest point guard since Magic.

In contrast, the guy everyone wants to pretend had no impact had 1 TO, 10 assists.

I think it was 10 in the 3rd quarter alone and overwhelming majority of those were unforced. Sloppy or bad passes etc.. a few were offensive fouls also. But yes completely change the game.

Imagine if the idiots put it on before 10pm est.

That was the refs fault.

I don't know why people who get paid millions can't put the game at 8pm eastern
in the playoff play in game steph vs lebron lol
game lived up to every bit of the hype.

re: refs
the warriors are 1-14 in games reffed by that crew including 4 playoff losses.

now we can dismiss it as an anomaly but if they were 14-1 with those refs and had won the game i doubt it'd be dismissed as an anomaly.

all in all draymond has to score more than 2 points

he scores 6 points that's a win and 6 points for a professional basketball player no matter what he does on a side of the ball is not too much to ask especially when 1 player on the team is commanding a triple team from 25 feet out.
