Kwame Brown Go on Hour-Long Rant Against Gilbert Arenas, Stephen Jackson, Matt Barnes & Michael Jordan; Says Arenas Cost Him Millions, Stak is a Fake

Man I don’t even know? I saw Matt respond saying that he didn’t say anything. It looks like Kwame’s going at everyone who was on the show.
In either case...I would say get your shots off and chill...if its anymore misunderstandings, put the gloves on. Them niggas the same size and basically the same age. They got some hype behind the beef now, they could make some good money.

Kwame wants to fight and they don’t.

All of the sudden player's feelings are too fragile so its "disrespect" to talk about their games negatively.

I don't think he's overly sensitive now. And they just aren't dissecting his game. They're clowning him too. But it probably hits differently when you're x-teammates are doing it in a disrespectful manner. He's just telling them cats to keep talking but don't cop pleas if they happen to run into each other. You can dissect someone's game without repeatedly calling them a bum.

Oh actually when I talk about being sensitive, Im not talking about Kwame, Im talking about fans saying that guys like SAS, Barnes, Stacks... Shouldn't be talking about Kwame. As long as they keep it on the court, they can talk about players cause at home Im talking about players with my boys too. I always have. Fat Shaq could kick my ass, but when he was playing for the Celtics and the Suns I was calling him trash. Cause he played like trash.

So Im saying why are fans sensitive to that?

I mean.. it's 20 years later and they're still calling him a bum? When I see clips, they're not even breaking down his skills or deficiencies. It just sounds like they're dumping on him. I mean... in the house with your boys is one thing, but they're doing it publicly.

I don't even think fans are being sensitive as much as they kind of understand it.. like ok.. enough. Man.it's not like these cats are doing any deep analytics on his game.. they're just dumping on him.

and I think he's just setting the record straight... even with the MJ thing. I don't think he was ever in his feeling over it... but at some point, you'll get tired of a small drop from a dripping faucet.

They (Stak and Matt) made the mistake of thinking that Kwame was weak or a lame because he wasn't good at basketball and he was quiet so they chumped him off...Kwame took offense and came for their hearts which caught them off guard. Now they are trying to take the high road because they realize Kwame would get in that ass. Arenas knew the deal and set things straight immediately...

I see what you saying, but to me if they keep about ball, its free game. For example Arenas was very complimentary about him too.

One day theres gonna be a doc about MJ's top ten worst draft picks. Its gonna happen. Not to clown dudes. Just to talk about the history of the game.

How many docs have I seen about the Bills losing 4 straight Super Bowls?

Or about Chris Webber's timeout?

How long are we gonna talk about 28-3?

Talking sports is just what fans do.

I didn't listen to all the clips. Yeah.. if it's about the game, it's fair. But even still, you can do it in a respectful way. Even Stephen Jackson's response wasn't cool IMO. Listen, if you're just a former player talking amongst your friends, it's one thing. However, these guys claim to be media guys now. Former player or not, you can criticize a former player's game in a more respectful manner. Calling someone a bum.. anyone, is gonna make them feel like you're disrespecting their manhood because you are. I think that's all Kwame is really trying to see. He's like.. yo... I'm a man too and yall niggas need to dial it down. I didn't see ALL the clips so I'm not as informed as yall or the people that have watched all of them. HOWEVER, I've seen enough of Arenas, Jackson, and Barnes to know those cats get out of pocket BGOL style

That's what I feel like to me. Kwame is just like "yall better find someone else before I come and fuck yall up". Stephen Jackson always wants the smoke and he clearly doesn't want the smoke from Kwame. Kwame sounded like he was saying if yall niggas keep bringing up on my name Im gonna grab my mask and hop on a plane and we can talk about my basketball skills personally

Perfect summary.

No i didnt.

It was about his game.

Which was trash.

Which I have always in my entire life always talked about who's good and who's bad in the game.

All of the sudden player's feelings are too fragile so its "disrespect" to talk about their games negatively.

When did ya'll get so soft?
They were calling him a bum and They disrespected his name in front of a cac. 1 thing alone deserves a response. You can't dictate how someone responds when you started talking shit first.

...aaaaannnnnddddd them niggas saw Paul Pierce get fired on his day off a few weeks back. The mouse is lookin at these niggas when they not at work.

They work for Showtime. Matt Barnes is just a guest on ESPN. If Paul got fired for weed n hoes, Matt woulda been got fired for the same thing but he's not a actual employee to my knowledge.

Apples and oranges. Kwame was minding his business until he was provoked.
I'm missing the provocation though.

I saw compliments to what he could have been and explanations on who was responsible for what went on.

They blamed Jordan and the environment in Washington ..

And again what was the lie/provocation? He didn't address it so I have no idea if anything said was wrong.

And Steven A ain't provoke shit, that comment was in 2008

Barnes must think every former player is this man here

The Jordan shit is a smoke screen to not talk about the personal shit... And some basketball shit...

Barnes, Stack, Shannon and Stephen A all ran with it...

He clearly said Arenas went to coach Eddie Jordan to bench him and Stack quit on the Bobcats....

None of that has been addressed by them...

And I think it was the Lakers Trade comment by Stacks that they only traded one player ...
Then another comment on the Arenas podcast....

Its obvious there is some bad history there since they were both teammates...

Then Stephen A called into a ESPN morning show like Monday to discuss why calling Kwame a bum and scrub was fair...
