When she came out, she was a "type" that was marketable, just like every other singer being pushed towards pop stardom. Whether you like them or not, damn near every female POP STAR is attractive on some level. If they weren't, they couldn't sell and companies wouldn't invest millions in them.
The few various exceptions are deliberate exceptions and not the rule (Lizzo, etc.) They also serve a purpose in representing a demographic.
Is she attractive? Sure. She's not a knockout but she's above average-looking.
Am I attracted to her? Not so much so these days.
