Damn... No license, and no training needed either. Not sure if this is a good idea. People need training.

This is not going to end well The CAC’s in this state have been Trippin really hard because the population is changing rapidly in Texas. The 2020 census on her show 4 million people moving to Texas between the years of 2010 and 2020......of those 4 million people 89% of them are people of color yeah things are changing in that state rapidly.

That's really ridiculous:smh:

You can learn A LOT in just one 8 hour course. Not just about how to handle your firearm, but what happens if you do use it and the consequences. People need to hear that shit!

They also take a lot of revenue away from the gun shops out there for putting on these courses. The revenue from the courses and the fact that people buy guns and ammo from the shops they take the classes at.

Just a few political dickheads fuckin' it up for millions as usual.:smh:

You are aware that there are Black legal gun owners in Texas as well as Latino legal Gun owners. You do know that right.?

I have never had intentions of ever going to Norte Mexico.

I couldn’t imagine caring how those people chose to live their miserable lives.

also,...they have a law on the books here......where police cannot stop and ID you simply because they see you carrying a gun.
Texas doesn't have a stop and ID law at all.
It's going to get crazy in Texas.

I mean it's already fuckin' crazy everywhere, now just put a bunch of guns in the mix.:smh:

Although I'm sure a shitload of Texans are already carrying without a license.

This law will only serve to embolden the whites and there will be a lot of unnecessary "tough guy" shootings

This is really no different from states that allows open carry right now. That's all this really is for states that currently do not allow open carry. You still have to take a class & provide proficiency evidence to acquire a conceal carry license. Constitutional carry will not make it easier to purchase a pistol or allow for out of state reciprocity. That is why conceal carry is still the better option. I do believe people should have some sort of training prior to purchasing a gun though cuz the amount of people who don't know any gun safety, the line between self defense & becoming the aggressor or any local laws is beyond scary.

"
Lawmakers approved an amendment barring permitless carry from people convicted in the past five years of making a terroristic threat, deadly conduct, assault that causes bodily injury or disorderly conduct with a firearm.

Senators rejected a number of amendments by state Sen. César Blanco, D-El Paso, that would codify gun safety provisions Abbott proposed after the 2019 shootings by requiring background checks for gun sales between strangers and requiring courts to notify criminals that they may no longer possess a firearm, among other changes."

They never address reporting a stolen gun nor a universal registry. Also they know cops are kill you first. Fuck your 2A

Every Black person in Texas that turns 18. Give them a gun, and $1,000 in crypto (or stock). Just how its gonna have to be in the South.

What nigga gonna have the guts to run up on somebody that they can see with the heat on em?

Yeah but that could be inviting more John Crawford situations.

*Dude that got shot walking around with the bb gun at Walmart because a cac called the cops saying it was a real gun and John was pointing it at ppl.

Talking bout a robbery or getting jacked type situation here.

Yall act like criminals dont already have weapoms. Nothing new to see here. I am interested in the amount of mass shooters that Texas has compared to other states. If crime is low and mass shootings are even lower than other states then I see no reason this isn't a good law.

What an awful post.

Okay, you act as if a felon can get a gun legally with this law passed. I would like to see more training for citizens but that may not be realistic.

Gun laws dont affect law brakers from getting guns. Once you take the gun out of citizens hands you get overreaching govts who shit on there citizenship.

Hong Kong and Crimea aint happening in America because we have guns. Dont forget thst USSRs biggest hurdle in an American invasion was the armed citizens of the US.

Random unpredictable shooters don't scare me as much as an invading Army or oppressive govt. More gun laws aren't gonna stop people from being crazy or getting a gun. Omly social refoem along with mental health reform will really solve any issues.
