List a word/phrase that people commonly fuck up, that bothers you.

I’m so damn country, I stay fuckin up words. :smh:

“At the end of the day” annoys me.

While we are here I have problems with “goose” and “geese” not being applied to “moose.”

It’s wrong to say “meese” because damn plural for moose is “moose.” This is clearly CAC fuckery.

But let a nigga say “mooses” and the grammar patrol will be ready to put you in front of a firing squad.

And there IS such a thing as "fish" and "fishes"...as a noun, not a verb. :giggle:

These are what makes English such a hard language to learn.

The Spanish girl, guy or people when referring to Puerto Ricans, Dominicans, Mexicans, or anyone from a South American, Central America or Caribbean island where the native tongue is Spanish (The Spaniards from Spain colonized the aforementioned lands). Spanish people are from Spain.

When you meet someone from the African continent and ask them where they are from, they say "Africa." We know that there are about 54 countries on the continent and are familiar with quite a few of the countries there.

If you live in the Northeastern part of the US (Boston, New York, Philadelphia, etc), and you're planning on traveling to Atlanta or Miami you are going "Down South." Why do some people who live in New York and plan on traveling to Miami say, I'm going UP there?

Hmmmm

I disagree a little there

Real talk is slang for no bullsh*t straight talk truth so too me it's OK

You know what I'm saying is completely my generations fault just a extremely lazy word crutch. I don't think the modern generation uses it really

Now the lazy word crutch I can't stand?

No cap.

Which I would say is their version of real talk.

But THAT is annoying

My half-brother get's shit-faced and repeatedly tells me about the time he met Bobby Womack backstage.

"Brotha, I don't worship NO man, but Bobby Womack is a legendary!":bud:

You mean a legend.

"NAW Brotha, HE WAS A LEGENDARY!":beat::bud:

No man, you mean he was a legend and if he's one of your favorite artists, it's okay to admire his skills."

"NAW Brotha, I don't worship NO man but HE WAS A LEGENDARY!":beat::bud:

:roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:

:roflmao:

You know what though, you CAN say Bobby Womack was a visionary. You wouldn't say Bobby Womack was a vision. But you can say Bobby Womack was a legend. Or you CAN say Bobby Womack was legendary. But you can't say Bobby Womack was visionary.
