It does not matter because it is illegal to use deadly force against one who is not using deadly force. As far as I can tell, the girl in the pink only has her hands. She is not using deadly force so 15 is not allowed to use deadly force against her.

If she was bullied and reached a breaking point, she is not allowed to murder someone.
A person dead from one having a mental breakdown is just as dead.
A person dead from one having a mental issue is just as dead.

All valid points for matters that could and should have been dealt with BEFORE 15 grabbed a knife and tried to kill someone, BUT while she is in the act of trying to stab someone, THAT IS THE IMMEDIATE ISSUE AT HAND.

And no matter how much sense you make, they can only see one point of view. What if the cop did nothing and she poked the girl in the pink in the liver and killed her? Then the cop didn't do shit to save a black kid.....

Yeah, I remember this. These little girls walked into a Walmart to confront another girl and stabbed her to death in the freakin Walmart

Yet, there are no protest for her. No calls for reform, demands for programs, discussions about her or victims like her.

Yes, black folk being killed by police is never good, but we know we do exponentially more harm to ourselves than the police.

I feel ya and i get what you are saying. But im not giving any cops the benefit of the doubt when it comes to how they handle us! Again ive seen video after video of whites doing way worse than this girl, and they are still here! 4 fucking shots!! Nah im not feeling that....

Look at the vid again. 15 was over by the girl who got kicked by dad, THEN she went after pink, once she had pink hemmed up against the car, then pink saw the knife coming her way and raised he leg and foot because that is all she could do....she was about to get gutted and she saw it coming.

No one knows what would happen because none of us outside of the area would ever hear of it. It would be yet another meaningless homicide involving two young black people.

appreciate differing views and dialogue from well intentioned ppl instead of right wing trolls

but with these type of situations I always ask myself one question - if everything were the same except race would the cop have used lethal force? We'll never know for sure but history has shown police officers use alot of discretion, de-escalation and tact when dealing with white suspects while black suspects more often than not are more likely to be met with deadly force as the 1st option.

I AGREE!

but, IN THIS CASE, there was only one gotdamn option.

We need to stop being irrational in some of these situations and be honest with ourselves.

This was justified any way you slice it.

It's like some of you are discounting the lives of the other BLACK people just fucking standing there!

This young lady was in a murderous rage and the cop did the right thing. It was the only way to stop her IN THAT MOMENT. She was right up on the girl in the pink. If he had not shot her, Pink Outfit chick was a milisecond away from being stabbed in the heart.

Then you would have wanted to criticize dude for not shooting.

I'm not trying to crap on the deceased young lady, but she was the aggressor and unfortunately she died for her actions.
Better her than an innocent bystander.
