Tim Duncan was prepared to sign with Orlando. He actually went there to sign the papers then said that he forgot something at home and backed out at the last second.
As for Kobe he publicly begged for a trade to the bulls but the Lakers refused to trade him. Then he asked to be traded to the mavericks but backed out at the last second.
Say what you want but Lebron fulfilled every contract and never asked for trade.
