But what I did read was 2 of the most common and frequent excuses I see in regards to reparations. That he also stated.
1) The people alive today are not culpable for the actions of their ancestors.
And
2) The minorities of today were not victimized by the racism / inequality of the past.

1) While the cacs of today did not induce or cause the racism of the past they surely benefitted from it.
By the theft of land, resources, destruction of families and property.....loss of lives, trauma......etc
All those actions directly and indirectly placed cacs in a self imposed/proclaimed and self created position of superiority....in numerous facets of life
2) The minorities of today....Black folk, my folk....HAVE been victimized by those atrocities. Maybe not directly, but the damage was still done.
How many family trees had their branches prematurely snipped at the hands of white ppl and racism, how many were injured , mutilated or otherwise prevented from their potential of gainful employment and contributing to their family structure?

Dude, as a medical professional, Dr Ben Carson should have been saying something to someone. Even if he isn't a virologist, he knows the basics of disease.
