Through most of the game, it's fine. However, during the last few minutes in crunch time, he's just not a good enough ball handler/passer in those situations....and just doesn't have the experience running point to be effective....especially given the team is full of players who can't shoot... so the defense just collapses and there aren't many lanes to penetrate. If he was surrounded by shooters, it would be a different story.
He'll likely get there, but he's not ready yet... i think Stan has to ease him into this role.

Really wouldn't matter if he was surrounded by guys that could shoot. Lebron struggled with his outside shot when entering the league and he was fine running the point. We already know he's not a shooter... we're talking about Stan essentially giving him the PG role.

Just watched last 4 minutes of game. Hes playing point because the other guys are incapable or stupid. He also probably wants Lonzo as a shooting option since he is one of the better shooters by default and is a poor free throw shooter (even tho Zion is statistically worse).
