"Black excellence"

Your right, I didn't notice you guys been doing this. I have no issue with Durant not playing back to backs. But that peasy headed muthafucka should have played and sat out the Wolves game. Had it not been for Covid I would have been at that game and payed a lotta cash to sit behind the basket near the Sixers bench (I got a 3 row limit when I go to games. If I can't find a seat in the 1st 3 rows I'll watch on tv. Fuck sitting up by Dr. J's banner) I would have been pissed not seeing the weirdo go back in the game or that sensitive bitch on the bench. :smh: PLAY MUTHAFUCKA!! If we get beat, we get beat. But I wanna see the best players on the fuckin court.

He has no control over that. No player has that control over when they play anymore. You need to direct your anger towards the analytics and organizations than the players. All these players want to play all the time but they are assets to this teams.

Hell Durant wanted to play last season but they held him out. This is the same dude who played rec ball/summer tournaments all year round when it was a lockout. I doubt his love of competition has disappeared but if your the Nets and see what happened with him in Golden State during the playoffs.. you're going to proceed with caution with that man..

Can you imagine it's 1984 and the Lakers are playing the last game of the road trip in Boston and Pat Riley tells Magic, ehhhhhh, it's been a long road trip, you need to take a day off. Get off your feet buddy. Then Bird finds out and says, well, if Magic ain't playin hell, I'll take the night off too. :hmm: THE FUCK ARE WE DOIN COSIGNIN THIS PUNK PUSSY SMOOTH SHIT!!! :hmm:

Green, Shake, Thybulle Steph. He won't push them out.

LZqQai.jpg

Green can comeback to Cleveland. I would love to see the people's reactions when he's invisible on most night...

It's crazy, the GM came in and got rid of Green after his rookie season. Shit, didn't make sense. Him and Lebron worked well during Green's rookie season.

Nothing to get.
People wanted Monta Ellis around here.

That's, who alot of Cavs fans are comparing him too. I don't see it.

Juan Toscano-Anderson played well last night.

WELL FUCK THEM TOO THEN!!! :furious:

f82Cok.jpg

Fuck them then.. That ain't saying shit too me.

Ain't nobody cosigning this shit but I'm set in reality of what the fuck is going on. I ain't pay for an NBA game in three years because of it. You yearning for shit to be the same as it was thirty years ago but what in life is the same as it was thirty years ago. That ain't life.

Adjust bruh..

I can't be mad at anything you said there.
It just sucks that we didn't get to see a 76ers/Nets match up with all the stars on the floor.
I feel like people are taken it for granted that we will be playing the Nets in the ECF, so we just need to be patient. But how did that concept work out last year with everyone who just knew that the WFC would be the battle of LA.

I take nothing for granted these days. Especially with these weird ass play in tournament rules, injuries, and randomness of the playoffs. You never know who's going to make it. We could fuck around and never get to see the fully loaded versions of these Philly and Brooklyn teams play each other.

In fairness, that four month break really fucked up that all LA conference finals.

And I hear you that we can't take anything for granted but if I was to tell you that your squad was able to be a top two in their conference while allowing players to rest on these nagging issues... Would you be mad?

Also, as much as fans wanna see that matchup.. Philly ain't focused on us which they shouldn't. Their focus is on the Lakers

NBA rivalries died a while ago. All the fans are chummy with each other and mainly only root against one player and his fans. We've seen that for over 10 years in this thread alone.

In the 90s Heat vs Knicks, Pacers vs Knicks, Bulls vs Knicks, Rockets vs Spurs, Sonics vs Lakers. You had real rivalries with passionate basketball fans. It wasnt just hey lets all hate on Jordan and his fans and root for all the other stars to beat him. Basketball had balance. Now Rockets and Nuggets fans be openly rooting for rival superstars during the season. Miami Heat fans talk about Dallas Mavericks 1 chip more than the 3 Miami won, it's all fucked up. Theres no real loyalty to the teams anymore so rivalries dont exist.

Your right. Nothing is guaranteed. I just think that was some bitch shit what the Nets did bruh. I ain't tryin to look at it any other way. :itsawrap:

I hate this "No one can guard"....mentality.

If a player can't guard you ok fine. But you can't guard him either so....what's the point? Y'all cancel each other out. Holla at me when we start saying this about players, "Nobody can stop him and nobody can score on him either". If I beat you in a game of 1-on-1 by one point, do I really have bragging rights? What about if I beat you and hold you to one point? That's real bragging rights.

I don't think we'll be ever see that again due to the hand checking ban and the implementing of zone defense in the league.

Closest we last had to that was Bron in spurts in the playoffs and Kawhi in Toronto but I think that's done.

I knokw right. I still do. @Mack1052 is a good man. A solid member here. A humanitarian. He deserves the best. I think he's just like so many others in this life that have come to accept the bitchassness in some of todays athletes. Their lack of wanted to truly compete. More concerned about poppin bottles and being liked by opponets. More worried about social media than playing a full regular season. Bitch shit. Shit that has people like Moses Malone rolling over in his grave. Yet, I keep hearing how todays athletes are so much better. How they're so much greater. How they would have smoked the old vets from the 70's 80's and 90's. :smh: In all four sports. :smh:

S5tsuJ.jpg

I just had this argument with some folks. They tried to come at me for calling today's game soft and the players soft. Then tried to say, Injuries are the reason why players don't care to compete until the playoffs.

Well if that's true then don't put these new dudes in the same realm as past players. Players used to go out and play their hardest and compete KNOWING that their next play could possibly be their last. These dudes approach every game now like an All Star game. "No need to take a chance on getting hurt. It ain't the playoffs"

Man fuck that. Players used to dive on floors and go all out every night just to make sure they beat the team across from them. If players are so-called "bigger and better" now then why is everyone scared to get hurt and tiptoing in games? And they get paid way more now.

Might as well play a 30 game season(each team plays each other once) and start the playoffs. And don't say they are like this because of the condensed season. Yes this season sucks but believe me, once this shit gets back to normal, players are still going to be timid. That's just how they are built now. 50 games a season/load management ass dudes.

I hate these faggots man. I really do. And some people say I have no right to feel this way. Just go along with it cause it's happening. The amount of money teams are charging to watch these guys play is the reason I'm speaking out. I'm all for bringing a guy back slowly from injury but scheduled days off? Nigga that's what the fuckin off season is for.

Correction: The Nuggets fucked up that Battle of LA bullshit lol.

I can't believe people really thought the Clippers could not play together all year and then somehow click in the playoffs. Wtf. If they had better team chemistry, they would've been able to figure the Nuggets out and put them away like the Lakers did. No way they should've lost being up 3-1 and late leads in almost every game. That is a direct correlation to the lack of chemistry and coaching they had that should've been built during previous games.

Im not in any place because I dont play in the NBA :giggle: . I think as of right now GS is tied for 8th; but you cant name 3 players that are playing better than the Chef right now!!!

Stop disrespecting the less talented Grizzlies who currently hold that 8th spot, Warriors are a half game back in the 9th. MVP Steph is charging his team ahead though.

If I'm not mistaken they were. Clippers was on a mean winning streak and ramping up for the playoffs until covid hit.

Regarding giving up that 3-1 lead that's on Doc and his two stars. Ain't no way you supposed to lose there

They were looking good but they were disrespectful mf's. Them niggas was basically yawning talking bout "wake me up when the playoffs start". Acting like they had the West in the bag the whole year. Their starting unit load managed damn near that entire season which means their 2 stars along with the starting lineup never got to play together much. They just thought they could rest all season, then put Kawhi and Paul on the floor and be good. Morris brother stayed talking shit too because they won a few games. They got what the fuck was coming to them in the end though so it's all good.

JTA needs to be in the rotation
took kerr 50 games to realize that

Unfortunately in this era stats and facts dont matter. Most LeBron haters ignore his stats, their dedicated hatred for him doesnt revolve around basketball, so stats are irrelevant. LeBron hate is white supremacy.

If we celebrating guys doing big things on non playoff teams, we need to talk about Russ, averaging a trip dub for the year again. I can appreciate point guards that can hit double digit assists every night and get other guys involved. That is the job of a POINT GUARD.

Qwite interesting we want to celebrate Westbrook now when i was alone on that island for years.

and the job of the point guard isn't to get double digit assists every night
it's to get the offense going and get everyone EASY SHOTS

By getting assists. The light skin superstar athlete you exclusively root for with white people to beat LeBron doesnt get his offense going. He's not a playmaker and not a set up man. Draymond Green operates the Dubs offense and its evident when he doesnt play. Steph is an average passer, outstanding shooter which makes him a great all time combo guard but not a great point guard. Look at what Chris Paul does for teams and compare that to what Steph does. Its like night and day. Steph doesnt make the players around him overachieve, yall been throwing his teammates under the bus all season and bragging on HIS scoring binges, some point guard.

And Ive always celebrated Westbrook on this board. You were the one who used to make fun of him so everyone would believe KD's fake schoolboy image in his OKC days. "Westbrook keeps bullying Durant and wont pass him the ball"   You made that cute animated gif where you put Westbrook & KD's faces in that Fresh Prince clip. Now Kevin Durantstein is almost 33 years old on Twitter beefing every other day. :smh:

Ahhh so Steph Curry doesn't get his offense going?
I see.
Ahh Steph doesn't make the players around him overachieve?
Interesting
I just wanted you to spend the time and write this dumb shit to further discredit you round here that's it.

Have a really great day!!

You havent disputed what I said, just said its stupid but havent said why. Have you guys not been dissing Oubre, Wiggins, Wiseman, the coaching staff, all season? Who has Steph made better? How does a guy that never leads his team in assists run the offense? Oh yeah I forgot, his magical light skin tone opens up spacing for his teammates, so even though he's not the one to pass them the ball it still counts as an assist.

Steph Curry has never averaged over 8 assists a game. You and Gay_Carver brag on his scoring performances not his assist totals right? He's a poor man's Kobe basically. 90% of his fans are ex-Kobe stans so yall only care about scoring anyway, we get it. But stop acting like he's a great point guard, he's not, he's a great combo guard. Look at what Chris Paul is doing for Phoenix and look at what Steph is doing for Golden State. Chris Paul is real point guard, I know I know, he's not light skinned so you cant see it, but trust me, dude is a HOFer and makes bums and lesser players overachieve. If I would've told yall before the year Phoenix would be a top 4 seed and Steph would have the Dubs fighting for lottery seeding yall would've laughed. Now I get to laugh at Team Light Skin show us they dont really care about basketball.

By the way, AD is coming back to the Lake Show prolly next week. He will have the team to himself without LeBron. Let's see if your AD is light skinned he is the real reason for the Lakers success theory holds up.

100 agree.
Rivalries been dead for the most part. I just want to see the top teams in the conference with a collection of some of the top players in the league, go at each other with their full strength. Fuck a rivalry, I just want some good basketball.

Especially coming after the bubble. Dudes were balling outta control in the bubble. This season on the other hand has felt off since the start. Don't seem like guys are invested in the regular season and they're just waiting for the playoffs to start. As much shit as Kyrie gets in shit thread, it seems like a lot more star players than just him are checked out right now.
