Who the fuck watches the WNBA??

I watch it, didn’t use to but when you have a 9th grade daughter that I train in basketball. You start to understand it better, looking at the competition.

A lot of women can’t play like men for some odd reason..I’m talking about the movement the way they dribble/shoot it’s all looks unorthodox. There’s a few that can ball though.

I support my local area teams and I have a daughter so yeah, the Mystics.

This had been in the news alot recently and the idea that women are somehow underpaid is

Guys watch sports for a variety of reasons...sport they used to play, sport they like, and they watch mainly to see a game played at a HIGH level. They basically wanna see people do things they can't do.

When I think of watching bball, I still love the game, although I don't play anymore. But the WNBA isn't played at a high enough level to get my interest. It's no better than some pickup games at the park and not as good as boy's HS bball.

I've played against 3 exWNBA players and I can tell you that if they were in the NBA, it would've been a different experience...they weren't that good. Had they been from the NBA, I don't think I'd even be able to hang on the same court.

The thing is everyone knows how much the NBA makes vs the WNBA..and how long one has been established vs the other. Yet, women think this is an example where their pay should be on par with the men's.

You hear women complaining about the pay gap in sports, but you don't hear them complaining that male fashion models don't make nearly what the women do..same in porn...I've never heard of a men's night at a club or all the other perks women take for granted, but in their eyes...even though the WNBA doesn't make money, they should be making millions..:smh::lol:

I think they need to make minor changes to the WNBA to get more viewers.
First I think they should get rid of the multicolored basketball and stick with the original orange basketball.
For me the multicolored ball visually cheapens the game to a gimmicky, novelty act akin to the Harlem Globetrotters, Who used the same type of multicolored basketball in their show.
I can watch a NCAA women's basketball game in it's entirety whereas I can only watch about 5 to 10 minutes of a WNBA game before I lose interest because of this very reason.

Secondly,

I think the WNBA should lower the rim by 2 inches or at least 1 inch so that we can see players posterize other players with slam dunks and alley oop dunks that will get more press and media coverage than usual.

OK so the little girl has been watching old and1 videos.
That's what one of those WNBA women should've done.
All it takes is a little bit more practice in the gym.

With long range three point shooting being all the rage in the NBA, I don't see why don't just teach girls to be better shooters.

Like somebody else said when you have daughters that hoop it makes you appreciate the women's game more... especially on the college level. I remember when it was only UCONN and TN that were watchable. Now it's more entertaining all around. The WNBA is less entertaining to me compared to college.

In my opinion

1. Weed out not all but more of the lesbians. Their needs to be more feminine looking women.
2. Add some suttle sex appeal
3. Make nba players attend the games
4. Add a half time show like hbcu marching band or sadly Cardi B and Megan

I don't think the WNBA women expect to make what the men make

But they currently make less than $200K on the average.

That's RIDICULOUS

These are great suggestions

Personally I love watching the NCAA womens tournaments.

Because my daughter played basketball I have had to see a lot of women's game so I'm just accustomed to it.

I just think it sucks that they can't make a decent living from playing the sport. This is America where people get paid a lot for all kinds of nonsense.

I watched the double-header last night on TNT and they had WNBA player Candice Parker on the host panel and Shaq wasn't giving her any respect. He just kept throwing shit at her and you could see her starting to get uncomfortable. I'm waiting for her or another to make a comment or complaint.

I just can't take women sports serious except track, don't give a fuck who is offended either. I remember they used to beg people to take Liberty tickets on 7th Ave in front of MSG. Literally give you as much as you want.

I went to one, it felt like how these Covid games feel. It was like maybe 200 people in there. They even gave away free popcorn, hot dogs, and sodas, and that wasn't enough to go again.

She’s embarrassed Shaq about his basketball knowledge on several occasions in the past couple of months and Shaq’s moist and in his feelings.

WNBA
What No Body Arrived
:giggle:
Lmao! Several years back I went to a atl dream game. They had the entire 2nd level covered with black tarp because the couldn't fill the seats. When we left they were handing out stacks of tickets for the next game that I think was a playoff game. I had around 25-30 free tickets. I got about 6 of my people to go, but I couldn't give the rest away. Then they gave away more tickets after the playoff game. Couldn't give those away either.
