I didn't know what to expect from this movie. I didn't plan on watching it but I clicked on it and couldn't stop watching it. It was truly hilarious especially if you like pranks. The reactions were gold.

If you like it you should check out the Eric Andre Show. Its the same weird humor and he interviews celebrities.

It's an interesting format with the 15 to 20-minute running time per episode. I've caught a few episodes over the years.

The genuine "WTF" responses from the guests is funny. The shock value of it all.

Going to check out this series eventually. It's been on the To See List for awhile. Have season 1 on a flashdrive, and seasons 2 and 3 on the DVR.

The third series premiered on 12 April 2020 for BBC America, and on 13 April 2020 for BBC iPlayer,[3] and concluded on 31 May 2020. Killing Eve has been renewed for a fourth and final series,[4] which is set to premiere in 2022.[5]

Godzilla vs. Kong

The Match of the year is HERE !!!!!!!!

PRAISE : I still have a lot of love for the meager budgeted King Kong Against Godzilla a 1962 tokusatsu kaiju film produced by Toho Company but now a 2021 version with a huge budget has come my way and of course i feel like a kid again.
In this version Kong and his protectors undertake a perilous journey to find his true home
However, they soon find themselves in the path of an enraged Godzilla as he cuts a swath of destruction across the globe.
Did i have fun watching this monster mash up....OH YES...when the 2 are on screen and even seperate i had a huge smile on my face. It's not only their bone crunching, knock down, destructive, drag out fights that made me smile but it's the light touches like giving King and God some personality.Great Direction from Adam Wingard who gave me just what i wanted to see.Everyone behind the scenes really created something wonderous.
Kaylee Hottle as Jia definitely has some charming moments and Brian Tyree Henry as Bernie Hayes was funny at times and Rebecca Hall as Dr. Ilene Andrews...well i can always appreciate her lips anytime i see them.

PROBLEMS : I like all of these actors : Alexander Skarsgård,Millie Bobby Brown,Millie Bobby Brown,Rebecca Hall, Eiza González,Kyle Chandler and Demián Bichir but they really werent given much to do or say. It's like say 3 to 5 lines and back to the action.Or just looked shocked.
I actually thought there would be more to the design of certain things so i was a bit
disappointed with that.

Finally Back watching movies again. The first movie I checked out was something called Beverly Hood.

Beverly Hood (YOUTUBE)

Despite this movie being low budget and bad acting. This movie was pretty decent, until the half way point. The movie starts turning into a train wreck until the end. Despite all that I actually liked the movie. But I wouldnt watch it again anytime soon.

Im not sure if I can recommend this movie. If you have a low tolerance for bad acting and corny jokes. I would steer clear of this.

Kong (HBO MAX)

I finally caved in and watched this, to get caught up on the king of monsters universe. Im Glad I choose to watch this movie first. Because I didnt really like the Godzilla movies. I thought this movie is great. All the action, story, specials effects and cinematography is great. If anyone who hasnt seen this, I would really recommend watching this movie.

I was a little nervous for John C. relieys, character. Im glad he made it through in the end

Godzilla(HBOMAX)

I liked everything in this movie. Up until the last 45 minutes, where everything was dark. I could have turned off my desk lamp. So I can see what was going on, but I said fuck it and left the light on. I think this movie defiantly could have been edited down to an hour and 45 minutes. I really dont plan on watching this movie again.

GODZILLA The King Of The Monsters(HBOMAX)

My opinion of this movie can be summed up in 2 words Train wreck. As a matter of fact 3, boring.

Checked out this doc' yesterday. It was good. Packed plenty of information in (for approx' 1 hour, 15 minutes). Talked about his impact on music and pop culture ... business savvy and knowledge ... the many questions surrounding his murder, and Allen Klein's troubling involvement with Tracey Limited, etc. The interview segments are with some of his family members, his former assistant and producer respectively, president of a fan club, autopsy report specialist, etc.

Bad Trip

Funny if you are into Eric Andre's humor.

BAD TRIP

FUNNY TRIP FOR ME

PRAISE: Im a huge fan of Eric Andre and his show and his hidden camera gags.So this flick with a plot similar to Dumb And Dumber coupled with two best friends pulling hilarious and inventive pranks on an unsuspecting public was very funny.
Most of the time movies like this rest on the reactions of an unknowing publics reactions to the most outrageous and over the top gags and it really works in this film,I laughed so hard my head started to hurt.Praise to Michaela Conlin ,Lil Rel Howery and Tiffany Haddish for their funny assists to Andre in pulling this off.
Be warned some of these gags are truly over the top and some are sexual in nature.

PROBLEMS: Of course every gag and moment isnt 100% hilarious. The plot is definitely not original.

Scale of 1-10 an 8½

Saw it yesterday. Legit had some very funny laugh out loud moments. Good combination of The Eric Andre Show, Jackass, and Borat. Easy to get through at under 1 hour, 30 mins. They didn’t run any joke premises into the ground as some comedies do when they run too long at 2 hours+. Lil Rel was great as the straight man to Andre’s never giving a fuck and always going to the max. Haddish was great as the hardened character. Funny reactions from people throughout the movie. Great diner / restaurant and final scenes especially.

THUNDER FORCE

THUNDER TO THUD

PRAISE: Superheros are here to stay and in all shapes and sizes and genre's.Thunder Force takes the comedic route in this story about Two childhood best friends reunite as an unlikely crime-fighting superhero duo when one invents a formula that gives ordinary people superpowers. The film lays down a charming foundation.
There are some genuinely funny moments scattered around in the film Melissa McCarthy as Lydia Berman brings her usual comedic tropes to the film which work for at least half of the film.Matching her up with Octavia Spencer as Emily Stanton was a pretty good idea because the two play well together.Jason Bateman as The Crab brings some funny moments especially when he and McCarthy share the screen.Taylor Mosby as Emily's daughter was definitely charming. There are some fun action sequences. Some funny twists on the superhero genre. If you ever read the comic book Faith you will definitely find things to love in this movie.

PROBLEMS: With all of the talent in this movie i cant believe how many moments just stall and dwell with really dry ad libbing.Characters are hyped up from the beginning of the film but when they show up i said wow this is it really ?!?
It had such promise,so much more could have been done, and i could definitely see where things were cut especially when it comes to raunchiness. The script truly limits itself.Several actors collect easy paychecks by just looking angry and saying about 7 lines of dialogue.

Good movie that will fly under the radar. The third act wasn't as good. It sort of lost the intrigue, and probably a good five to 10 minutes should have been cut.

Voyagers

It was ok, but they dropped the ball. It could have actually been good instead of just watchable. It was sort of predictable and it turned in to Lord Of The Flies in space. I sort of had a problem with how it depicted women of color also.

Checked out Run yesterday from a friend's recommendation. Enjoyed it. Easy to get through at only an hour and a half. Could have been more intense (language & violence) if it had a stronger R rating (instead of PG-13). Campy at times, but the daughter's physical state really helped ramp up the tension throughout. Plus, a very minimal cast with 2 central characters allowed for little filler or distracting subplots.

The best scenes were quite good - my faves were the ones dealing with the medication in question.

Run is a 2020 American psychological thriller film directed by Aneesh Chaganty and written by Chaganty and Sev Ohanian. The film stars Kiera Allen as a homeschooled teenager who begins to suspect her mother (Sarah Paulson) is keeping a dark secret from her.

Run was released on November 20, 2020, by Hulu, theatrically in other territories by Lionsgate, and was released internationally on April 2, 2021, by Netflix. The film received generally positive reviews from critics and became Hulu's most successful original film upon its release.

I was hyped up, after watching Justice League(The synder cut). So I decided to watch this, and this shit was unintentionally funny. Just about all of the jokes was bad, and fell flat. Even the Melissa McCarthy prat falls wasn't really all that funny. But the bad wire work was LOL funny. I mean the shit looked really out of place.

Skip this shit.

HBOMAX Justice League The Zack Synder cut

I watched this last weekend. And I thought this was great. I never saw the original, due to people shitting on it. And all the bad reviews, so I avoided it.

I thought the movie had a appropriate run time. There was a lot of shit going on, so it kind of make sense for the long runtime. I liked every thing about the

movie.

Well not the ending. Ill use the spoiler tag to explain.
Because after watching this, I found out everything that happend. Is going to be dropped. And there's going to be a soft reboot of the films

Other then that, I would suggest other people. That hasn't seen this, give it a try.

HBOMAX New Mutants

I didn't know too much of any of the characters. So I really didn't have any expectations for this movie. But I was genuinely surprised, that this was a good film.

There was a couple of bad edits. But other than that this was an alright movie. I would recommend this movie.

Netflix Jui Jitsu

When I saw this pop up on my netflix. I started to LOL. I was like wait a minute, Nick Cage is staring in a movie named Jui Jitsu. I automatically thought he was

going to be busting out some martial arts moves. And this was an martial arts film. He did not, well maybe his stunt double. I would have figured that out if I

had saw the trailer BEFORE, watching the movie. But I have made a point of not watching trailers anymore. Because I feel nowadays they give up too much in

the damn trailer. Anyways this turned out to be a decent action/Sci-Fi flick. I would recommend this movie.

@Dirtylakerie - A coworker saw Thunder Force this past week & agreed with you - said to definitely skip it.

I hear you re: movie trailers these days. Far too many of them show way too much. Trying to pack an entire movie's worth of stuff into 2 - 3 minutes, thereby ruining surprise moments. Miss those days with the late "Movie Guy" voice doing the narration ... or when they'd do trailers with important dialogue scenes (that didn't spoil anything). I'm glad Youtube commenters call that out too for TV & movies. You'll see people say - "Now that's how you do a trailer ... nothing was spoiled!" when they're done effectively, which unfortunately is far too rare the past 10+ years.

Thanks for the reviews!

This! I almost never watch trailers anymore. I just depend on family and friends recommendations and this site as well as podcasts. If I do watch a trailer, I usually decide quickly if it's worth a watch or not and never watch the whole trailer.

Anyways... I watched Nobody last night. It was a solid action flick along the lines of The Equalizer, John Wick, Taken, etc...

Looking forward to checking out Nobody soon.

Agreed re: recommendations from friends, family, BGOL. Podcasts too, like you said. I also keep Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic in rotation - to get those aggregate scores from reviewers & general fans too. It's really interesting when the reviews and scores are all over the map. Pros and cons all over the place.

It was ok, it was a basic and easy to understand story.

Some of the CGI was totally unnecessary and they should have kept it simple. I guess it was done for jump scares, but it didn't work. At least for me.

I had this one on in the background from a streaming site. I watched it for the 1980s Japanese titties, in fast-forward.

I can't tell you anything about the plot or storyline. Again, I just watched it for the titties.

Beautiful Wrestlers: Down for the Count (Japanese: 美少女プロレス 失神10秒前, Hepburn: Bishôjo puroresu: shisshin 10-byo mae) is a 1984 Japanese film in Nikkatsu Studios' "Roman Porno" period, directed by Hiroyuki Nasu.

Megu enrolls in an extracurricular girls' wrestling club, but things are not quite what she expected. She soon learns the club's training program includes humiliating sexual submission to the senior female wrestlers and that the club's finances are secured with the prostitution of the girls to the members of a nearby all-male wrestling club. Megu's life is further strained when a rival wrestler Shinobu (Kaoru Ada) shows interest in her new boyfriend. This tension erupts at a no-holds-barred wrestling match. Megu's strength is pushed to the limit but she has a secret weapon—superhuman strength whenever she inserts her tampon.

X-Men:Dark Phoenix(HBO MAX)

Saw this movie last Friday, and I thought this was a decent movie. It was better than I expected, but I thought the story was the weak point of this movie. With that being said, I wouldn't rush out to watch this movie.

Birds Of Prey(HBO MAX)

This movie was a mixed bag, there's great and bad moments in this movie. The action, cinematography and the acting is great. But the presentation and chunks of the story was meh. After watching this I can see where some youtube reviewers was saying its a male bashing movie. But I dont completely agree with that settlement. Despite all that, I would recommend this movie.

AquaMan(HBO MAX)

All I got too say is, this movie was GREAT! Im definitely on board with D.C. after watching this movie.

Wonder Woman(HBO MAX)

I finally finished watching this movie. I tried watching this a couple of years ago. And kept falling asleep around the same part. So I figured it must be a bad movie. But I was wrong, I was just tired and tried to watch a movie. Everything was great in this movie, But I felt it was a little long. Other than that this was good. After watching this, i was thinking they should have had the same people involved for that Wonder Woman 1984. Because the story for that movie was ass. Everything else was good for that movie.

Dead Pool 2(HULU)

 :yes:I would say this was the best movie I saw this past weekend. I enjoyed this movie from beginning too end. And the end credits. I hope they keep Ryan Reynolds and the dead pool character around for awhile. Other than that I would recommend this movie.
