Zemo is cunning and full of guile. I was surprised that he didn't bounce after he smashed the vials of serum. I know that he can't really disappear until he is sure the source of the serum is destroyed though. Of THAT he wants to be sure.

He couldn't bounce, Cap knocked him out while he was still smashing the vials, Cap took the last Vial and eventually drank it.
I feel like they should have shown fake Cap drinking it on screen.

If you remember correctly, The Falcon asked him what he did after he bent the pipe while fighting on the stairs, it was implied then that he had drank it.

Im not saying that it wasn't clear in how they did it, but they havent shown anyone's "transformation" yet.

He had the opportunity when he went down the drain and also when he picked the cuffs. He could've vanished but he's hell-bent on having no more Super Soldiers. Hell, he could've gotten ghost when they were fighting the Power Broker's goons.
He has the resources to operate alone but he doesn't have the complete Intel picture so he's kind of beholden.

I was thinking that he still had it in his pocket with the intention of giving it to Haskins. I really bought it when they were talking and he'd asked him if he'd have taken the serum if offered. I thought he was holding onto it even though he started exhibiting odd symptoms out of the blue.
I'd assumed that it was just side effects of the original serum or that he was just stressing from trying so damned hard to look good/succeed from having Steve Roger's shoes to fill.

two things. 1. we all knew he was going to take the blue koolaid as soon as he hid it in his pocket. And 2 This is an 8 episode series that is really tight every hour/episode on a game of thrones 1st few seasons level. They keep it moving on this show, and showing that on screen would have just been a pointless waste of film. IMO
