Smart Delivery, Backwards Compatible, Quick Resume, FPS Boost, GamePass. All shit they laughed at but wish they had now. Glad to have both. Tried to tell folks about the XBox beforehand but noooooo. Now a couple of my friends have a Series X and they starting to see my Style vs. Substance argument more.
I have fucking figured this shit out.... Xbox is using these Third Party Day One deals... Like they used the Demo game shit on the 360.
There games on the 360 that I would have never spent a dime on if I didn't play the Demo... but after I played the Demo sometimes I'd end up playing the game.
So basically it looks like Microsoft has figured a way to do Timed Exclusivity through game pass..... to get people more willing to likely pay for a game that they normally wouldn't
Since Covid ... People don't have the extra cash to put on games ... and people are fearful of wasting money on games cause they know it's probably a buggy mess ....
Game pass is now your way around it. Microsoft pays you money to help figures ....
You then get Millions of people playing your game while you work on kinks.. ..
These same people will probably be less likely to bitch about the game since it is "Free" .... they will probably pay for DLC and if they like it.... they will probably buy it with the gamepass discount when it's about to leave gamepass..
This is absolute genius... I bet this isn't even close to the end on this... This could end up a monthly thing. Wait until the phone and PC streaming comes up. Soon Xbox is going to merge the xbox store and gamepass together to allow gamepass users to buy the games that are leaving (AND THIS IS XBOX's GRAND PLAN) ....

Thats what I was telling a friend who doesn't understand GamePass. Told him my son is playing Among Us on PC, my daughter is playing a few games on PC, my wife is playing Theme Hospital and Afterparty (which I bought for a discount before it left), and I try every damn thing because why not. When the fuck would I have ever tried Call To Sea? EA games included makes it even better. No way you can't find something you want to try. And now Bethesda is here.

This. I downloaded Ark, outer worlds, and the Jedi Knight game that I missed. Like I watched a lot of bullshit on Netflix and end up discovering some gems, it's the same thing on game pass. That Jedi Knight game is fire.

I want to thank all that contribute here. You guys already helped me with game pass. I also got the headphones as well. I will admit I use to love my PlayStation and picked up the X series because it was way easier to get. I was like this will hold me over until the PS5 will be available in the stores. But with gamepass I have no desire for a PS5 now. Haven’t even touched my PS4 in a month since I got my X Series.
