The entire country wanna be one thing. And its a shame. Niggas in chicago never had gold teeth before, now they do. Rap has become one big shit bowl where no one got they own personality anymore. At least Florida hasnt changed its look in 40 years. Ask anyone from Florida here, the 80's is when this style of dreads started. in the 90's we began to call them Wiks short for "Wickeds"cuz all the Jamaicans had big thick dreads. I got pics of me with like 4 dreads on my head when I was in HS in the 90's. This has never been no new part of Florida. Fuck OP acting like he just discovered America. There actually is a very small underground miami bass music scene btw. Check out DJ Sam Sneak, Chip Man, DJ Toto, for the bigger songs. It didnt die, but I do agree wish it was bigger.

Thanks for the reply. I was born and raised in NC, but dad is from St. Pete. Spent a lot of time down there. Florida is really isolated like an island and brother's down there create their own culture.
