He turned a one off Royal Rumble appearance into a producer role and took Shelton (who was probably going to have another wasted odd couple tag team run), Cedric (who was on Vince's shit list) and Bobby (whose gimmicks included having male sisters, bending over every week to show his ass, and a Skinemax version of a Blacked.com storyline) and made them into a championship stable.
Also MVP was in Bobby's corner when he won his first TNA championship, too.

MVP is a legend. It’s legendary what he did to help with Shelton, Bobby and Cedric. They had no fucking clue what to do with them.
MVP is inching close to Bobby "The Brain" Heenan levels of greatest manager/stable head of all time.
Heenan had his "Family"....MVP had The Hurt Business.
Heenan had Tag Champs, IC Champs and a World Champ (for a few minutes) in Andre the Giant.
MVP accomplished all that in less than a year (US Title for the IC title of course).
Crazy thing, I can absolutely see MVP becoming a successful heel commentor too.

That's the night Kofi won at Wrestlemania. Cats who were then since he was Jafaican Kofi and who know how blacks are treated as far as the title in the business, they were genuinely moved by that shit. Best title win ever.
