If you take this approach, then you are more willing to fight to the death to stay together. This is his wife, not some girlfriend. Too many of you look at marriage and having a girlfriend as one and the same. This is why women, particularly black women have such high divorce rates. Because people have decided that they are too prideful to go to the mat for their families. Many of you especially black women do not really mean "til death do us part" or "for better or for worst." What many of you really mean is "I will hang around until I feel like I have to put in too much effort to make this work or it gets too hard," You do not want to deal with the "for worst" part.
